Like cutting butter with a hot knife
Would RecommendUsed it to remove old carpet and padding and install new sticky back carpet tiles. I'm a 65 year old DIY woman. I volunteer at a non-profit. This tool cut through the nasty, forty year old orange carpet. The even nastier fiber mat underlay. And the sticky adhesive backed new carpet tile. All with no issues. I recommend this cutter 1000%.

Lowe's 3rd party Positec Tool Corp is the WORST!
Would Not RecommendLowe's used a third party vendor to ship this product. Not only was I shorted one product, as I ordered a quantity of two (Lowe's Cust Serv helped with the refund of the one not received), but Positec Tool Corp who shipped the product slapped the shipping label DIRECTLY on the product box! They did not place in shipping box and this was a GIFT! The box arrived filthy, damaged, and had two large shipping labels. Clearly unable to use as a gift. Make sure to PICK UP your gifts at the actual store...
