design makes it's use impractical!

I bought the pruning chainsaw and then ordered the extension handle online. Neither was worth purchasing. The pruning chainsaw's handle area gets in the way of trying to get the pruning blade at an apprpriate angle to cut tree limbs and knobs of the crepe myrtles I was trimming. And the extension handle that supposedly extends the reach to 9' only extends it 4'. even then, the instrtument becomes overly heavy and unbalanced. i already had a cordless Dewalt chainsaw and hedge trimmer which togeth...

Not worth the cost

This little chain saw is a good idea in theory but in actual practice I am very disappointed that I spent the money. The instructions are not good. I used it yesterday and it was only useful in a few instances.

Uses.

I have this when it first came out and what a time saver it is. Another uses is cutting up thick cardboard boxes that the Zip Snip can't cut. It cuts thru the thick cardboard boxes with easy. Just thinking outside the box or cutting the box.

Great saw, no replacement chains

Saw is great. Been checking and on waiting lists several times for replacement chain since purchased Feb. 2023. Saw no longer cuts till a new chain is available. Odd chain size not available from others.

I bought this because my Zikopomi 6" cordless keeps running out of power. I already have 4 Worx tools and enough batteries, so it was worth a try. First thing I noticed was how heavy it was compared to the Ziko. It's also bulky for me. Besides that, it seems to have more power and it cuts well. I do like that safety button is on both sides. As for durability, not sure. Based on the other Worx tools that I purchased, it's worth a try.

Chain Reaction

Used this for the first time to clean up some yard debris after a recent tropical storm felled a couple of tree branches. I used it for around 2 hours to cut up the debris into smaller lengths for the town's upcoming yard debris collection. I began using a single 2ah 20v battery that was a little under fully charged. Worked great, but so do the many other products

We are truly a Worx family and customer for life. This 5 inch pruner worked flawlessly and is super easy to use. We also have the Trivac blower/mulcher,cordless leaf blower with attachments 2 saw horses, string trimmer, hydro shot, and folding g work table. All are 5 star products. We have given leaf blowers and trimmers as gifts to family and recommend to neighbors. Keep up the great.

Love my Cordless Pruning Saw!

I absolutely love, love my 20V Power Share 5" Cordless Pruning Saw. I have purchased several WORX tools and associated items, but this is by far my favorite. I have several shrubs and trees on my property which require constant. pruning and trimming and this tool has cut my labor time by at least 75%. I bought this for my 85 year old Mother who saw it advertised and said she could use one. I wasn't sure she would even pick it up after I purchased it - but she uses it constantly and said "It was the one of the easiest tools she has ever used". Wonderful item

this is a great tool that works very well and has plenty of power. It is a little difficult to work the safety switch or I would give it a 5 stars.

Great Power Tool

I'm 70 years old on a limited budget so I'm doing my own yard work now. I've bought other brands that didn't last or do as good of a job. Very happy with this tool and my Worx weed eater! Great quality too!

I never used this tool. I purchased it thinking it would be a safe tool for me to use, but upon reading the safety precautions and seeing the tool, I returned it. I was too afraid to have this type of tool operating so close to my body. Maybe if it came with an extension...

Great 5" WORX chainsaw

Tried out my WORX 5" chainsaw on large tree branches, thick bush branches and small logs. This saw has plenty of power to get the job done quickly. Cuts are clean and bark is not torn or mangled. It's a great small saw at a reasonable price (like all WORX products) and I recommend it.

Sorry to take so long to respond to your request but the temps here have been high and we waited until a cooler day to use the new tool. We are both in our 80's and because of my husband's 2016 stroke, I had to do the cutting. The machine was light enough for me to handle and although originally concerned it was much easier to use then I thought it would be.
