Cordless Chainsaw

I ordered the 20volt 10inch chainsaw. Not sure how you get so much power in 20 volts but the saw works great. I cut down a 11 inch diameter grapefruit stump. I also had to cut it smaller to the folks would haul it off. I used one full battery a a third of another. Just what I needed. Now I no longer need the saw. The auto tension did not work as the chain jumped off a few times.

Oh wow!

Had a limb fall on to my chain link fence. Tired of dealing with loud gasoline chainsaws. The Worx 10" was easy to put together AND use! Cut very well. Did have to retighten chain after sawing off 5 smallish limbs but the manual said that would happen. I didn't have to tighten the chain the rest of the time and I filled up the back of my truck with debris and still had battery left. Very impressed with this small and light weight chain saw!

Do not buy

The chain will not stay on the product and it is not self tightening. Also as a warning, Loews will not let you return it.

Won't cut a stick

I purchased this a couple years ago didn't use it right away. Then I misplaced the battery! Bought a new battery and then found the original. When out today to try to cut some small branches (1-2" thick) and this saw refused to cut more than a third of the way through. I was so weak and pitiful. I tried both batteries fully charged but no difference. This thing is like some dangerous childs toy. It could probably hurt you but will never be of any practical use.

Not that easy

Not as easy as description sounds. I own several other WORX products and this one is a challenge. Prior to purchasing this saw I owned an electric one with the same size 10”” bar so I am used to operating one. The directions/ pictures to assemble are not adequate. Chain comes off easily, constantly having to tighten. I did watch several u-tube videos which made it sounds fairly simple but that was not my experience.

Batterys don't go bad like gasoline left too long

Only used very little but it worked well. Thinking about getting an electric lawn mower.

A Butterknife Works Better

First and most important information for you to know is Lowe’s has a 48 hour return policy. This is so wild to me. You better be ready to get to work right when your order arrives or you purchase something with such a tight turnaround as that. I’m officially done with Lowe’s with that policy. Nice tool! This saw is perfect for all small to medium project and to cut big lumber to fit and do all of my pruning works with it.

Perfect for me!

The overall design is great. Just the right size for me. (Woman in my 70’s). Unfortunately, have not been able to use it because it snowed! Looking forward to snow melting and clear days.

Great NEW tool

The order process was great. It came in before I expected. It took it out of the box, I already had a charge battery, took it outside and trimmed a few branches. It works fabulous, nice and small and handy for that small cleanup where you need around your trees I would recommend anybody that needs that to purchase this item
