All the kids had was a 9" little hedge trimmer to tackle some really overgrown shrubs & bushes around the perimeter of the house. I looked for something that would be lighter weight than the gas powered one I had at the farm years ago. This one was on sale to boot and ordered it. SO glad I did. Most of the bushes have been trimmed back and the perimeter around the half wrap-around porch perfectly. I fully charged the battery the night before I started on things and this was EXACTLY what was need...

Convenience!
Would RecommendAfter using an electric hedge trimmer for years and cutting the cord on several occasions, this is much more convenient and has the power to do the job
Nice saw, very convenient and easy to use.
Arrived without instructions & w/o a charger
Would Not RecommendI received the item today. No instructions. No parts enclosed. No charger. I tried calling Lowe's repeatedly but got no meaningful help, so I am disputing the charge for this item.

Works well but the sheath is a downgrade.
Hedge Trimmer works well. Replacing the black hard plastic sheath with the transparent vinyl sheath was a downgrade IMO. A little difficult to put back on but again, maybe the company figured out how to save a couple pennies and not worry about feedback. I was told I can get the hard plastic sheath by buying the way more expensive upgrade, but not for me.
