20v 12" String Trimmer

I own 2 Worx string trimmers and I love them. I bought this one to keep at my mothers house. All of them are great but this one might be my favorite, it is lighter and easier to use. Worx makes the best yard tools and the fact that the batteries are interchangeable is an awesome perk.

I am familiar with this because I gave away an identical older one when I moved. I realized I needed one here, so I bought the same model. it does what it is supposed to and is lightweight and easy to handle. I only used one battery for a much larger area previously and that lasted for years. I believe this will do the same. I am also happy with the price I paid so this was a great purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Yes I have owned 3 in the last 6 years. I keep buying them in spite of some problems I have had. The first one clogged the motor with dust and grime until the motor bearings failed I'm still using the second purchase and noticed the head adjuster is getting hard if not impossible to adjust the angle of. The third one is working with with little wear. The reason I keep buying them is the convenience of the battery. 1 20v 4.0 will trim my lawn, 1...

I replaced my old string trimmer after many years of service it didn’t have the power anymore so I replaced it with the newer version I like the lighter weight of the trimmer I have a lot of trimming to do and I’m not getting any younger

WORX Battery Trimmeer

I have used other battery operated trimmers before and they never held up to the job. Great trimming experience and the batteries hold the charge, I am so happy to have found this product and will continue to buy products for WORX.

very average - lighter, but not a good edger

I thought pre-wound spools would mean 'no string jams' - wrong, same problems as all other trimmer/edgers I've had (have to stop and re-wind the string on the spool because it won't feed string out). It is lighter, but so far doesn't seem to edge very well.

Be aware the included battery

The included battery…..it has the display to show the how much the battery charging status with a red button to press to bring up number of lights to show the battery charging status…..it doesn’t do anything nor light up. Wonder why?

Nice product!!

Haven't used the tool very much but it seems to be better than an earlier version I had. Haven't had to recharge yet so I don't know how long a charge will last. Does a nice job of trimming and edging; easy to switch modes of operation.

Tough/Light/Reliable/Ability

We, my son and I, purchased WORX string trimmer and blower to start my son's mowing business. This was roughly eight years ago. We put these products to the test. Big time! Since then we moved to a rural property where vegetation is well beyond neighborhood difficulties. The WORX GT trimmer battles through the tough stuff. You may have to start high then work your way down on the toughest of growth...but I am so sold on its abilities, I bought a second trimmer! Sure, there are some things...

Disappointed with quality of latest trimmer.

I am very disappointed with the quality of my recent Worxs trimmer I just purchased. I have had several Worxs trimmers for over 10 years; but the quality of this last one was sub par. I had always been happy with the quality of the trimmers before. The general feel of the product seemed cheapened. The handle and string feed button didn't feel tight and precise. I would rather paid more money and purchased a Worxs trimmer with the quality they used to be.
