Do not buy whirlpool!

Worst washer I have ever owned. Stops mid cycle and won't complete the wash. Waiting on my 3rd repair in 8 months. Reached out to whirlpool and I also had purchased the extended warranty. They don't back the warranty because they said it's a 3rd party service which was also not advertised. I would not recommend this washer or any product by whirlpool for that matter since they don't honor the warranty or back their product.

Solid product for the price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an efficient- and amazingly quiet- machine. It is perfect for one person, as I am, and I love the various choices for the cycles. I also love that you can open the lid after starting to add something you may have forgotten- many new machines "Lock" once you start, which has always been a complaint of mine. Does a great job with the cleaning, as well, which, I guess, is the only thing that really matters, when all is said and done!!

Perfect sized washer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the capacity size snd the agitation. Perfect for my space with an overhead cabinet because the lid is low enough to clear the cabinet when opened. Always pleased with the reputation the Whirlpool brand.

Stops at wash light?

Looks good, but…

I thought it would be an upgrade from my very old but similar whirlpool washer that recently stopped working. This new one is beautiful and cool looking and has a lot more space inside but I learned you can’t load it up much, maybe 4 t-shirts, 2 pair of pants, 2 pair of socks and probably 4 underwear make a full load and even then that may be too much! Only lasted 2 years

The control board needed replacing after only 2 years. That cost was prohibitive; near the cost of a new machine. So my two year old machine is junk

Basic washer but does what it is supposed to

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pretty basic washer with good capacity and cycle variety. Like the autosensing water level. Had it for over 3 months and so far no issues. Gave it 4 stars because it is a bit loud and some of the settings are not very intuitive. Overall pretty good price/quality unit.

One big flaw, otherwise great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Capacity great: Fits two full sets of bed linen no problem. Good cycle variety. Haven't had any issue with anything snagging. Washes very well, ability to soak. Water level looks like it's too low, but I decided to "trust" the machine and let it do it's thing. Circuit Board Malfunctions

2 years old. 1st year malfunctioning and circuit board replacement needed. 2nd year in malfunctioning again! Machine won't complete a cycle. Never again will I purchase a Whirlpool!

Just ok

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Replaced identical model that I purchased in 2020. Did well until the transmission started leaking oil into the wash basin. Could not separate the wash basin from the transmission spindle, so I replaced the entire unit. Don’t expect to get more than 6 years out of the new one.

3.8 cu. ft. is just what we need

I’m so glad to have thì product. My family have used Whirlpool since 2002 . We will give the very good recommendations your brand to all my friends.

Great Washer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this washer to replace an Amana washer that was only 3 years old. The old one got off-balance on almost every load and required me to rearrange the clothes so that it could spin. It was a nightmare. This washer is quiet and does everything it is supposed to do. What a relief!

Decrease AI Features!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Locked lid??? This is NOT needed for ANY reason! If a load becomes unbalanced, it would take a person less than 30 seconds to OPEN the lid, redistribute clothing, and restart machine as compared to what you have made the machine do with AI.

Worst Washer

What a piece of junk this washing machine turned out to be. I've only had for a year and a half and it no longer works. I barely do laundry as a single Nurse and now I'm going to the laundromat to wash my scrubs. my Parents said go with Samsung or LG and I should have listened. Don't waste your money.
