Loudest Refrigerator I've owned
Would Not Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My family has trusted Whirlpool for generations and finally have a reason to shop other brands. The last refrigerator I had made me comfortable with buying another Whirlpool (had a basic lowest line 2005 model that lasted 20 years and I sold it with the house in 2025) but this thing never shuts up. It groans quite often like it hates its job of staying cold. Every time I open the door, it groans and makes awful noises like it's overworking to...

READ this before Buying
Would Not RecommendThis is the fridge that came with the house I purchased three years ago for my father. Gratefully, I'm finally able to get a new fridge to replace this one + I can't wait. There are so many downsides to this unit, I can't overstate it. First, it's virtually impossible to organize well in this space. Most items disappear into the abyss of the back to be forgotten about, never seen again. The ice maker does not make FILTERED ice, so you're getting dirty ice from this machine. The outside - "stainl...

Very low quality product
Would Not RecommendThere is only one temperature setting for both the refrigerator and the freezer and if I have it on the recommended setting the food in my fridge freezes. if I put it on a higher temperature setting, the freezer temperature is in a dangerous range. There is no way to correct this issue!! Very dissatisfied!

Whirpool is selling junk
Would Not RecommendOnly lasted 13 months. Second time I’ve had problems with this model. Bought several for rentals and they’re all starting to fail right after the warranty ends. Buy another brand and make sure you get an extended warranty.

Junk
Would Not RecommendPurchased this refrigerator a year ago for a rental and we have had nothing but issues with it. The freezer freezes up and the fridge doesn't keep cool.

Never has this unit operated even marginally!
Would Not RecommendSelected because of height / width requirement, but this is the worst! It freezes lettuce, drips water into refrigerator portion requiring a ‘catch tub’ or shelves become shallow ponds, and freezes ice daily onto the floor of the freezer! This has been totally unplugged for days and problem continues as it has from day one of purchase. Is this a lemon or is this what is expected from Whirlpool? Thought initially it had items poorly arranged in both compartments, but there are no items next to wa...

Not Worth Purchasing
Would Not RecommendWe bought this refrigerator 16 months ago and in the last month it has started freezing items in the refrigerator. The temperature has been lowered to the lowest temperature and still having issue. Called the company we purchased it from and they told us sorry your warranty is expired and you will have to pay for a service repair person to come fix it. Very disappointing that this refrigerator is less than two years old and already causing problems… we most definitely will not be buying another ...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Would not purchase this again. I have had so many issues with it. The door was damaged.. They kept sending me replacement doors that were also damaged or didn’t fit. After months of back and forth, they finally ended up sending me another refrigerator. The ice maker bar that raises to cause it to make ice does not work. The freezer trends to over freeze. So I have not been completely satisfied at all.

Spacious for a smaller width
Would RecommendSo much space for a single door fridge. It was so hard to find a fridge to fit exactly in my space and I was worried I would need to settle for less space but am pleasantly surprised with how roomy it is!

Not worth the hassle
Would Not RecommendOnce every few weeks the refrigerator starts getting pools of water because the defroster behind the freezer compartment causes ice to build up. The water can't go down the frozen drain so it leaks down into the refrigerator compartment. I have to empty the freezer, remove the back panel, and use steam to melt the ice dam. This isn't a really hard job, but I'm really tired of having to do it. Also, the light switch that is activated when you open the door broke. On older models this was an ...

Solid choice but maybe not for us.
It is a good a size and I love being able to see through the shelves. I gave 3 stars because there was a skuff on the front of the door and because it would be better as bucket style shelves to hold smaller item more secure when opening and closing the door.
