Disappointed

Attractive and adequate

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The refrigerator is attractive, quiet and holds constant temperature. However, the drawers are very flimsy, feel cheap, are difficult to slide without getting crooked and jamming. They feel like they will crack and break at any time. This unit was the only one available that would fit in my available space and was Energy Star rated. My previous unit (a Frigidaire) lasted 26 years. The installers told me this one wouldn't last anywhere near that...

Good fridge!

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I bought this a few months ago. Within the first few weeks the seals had to be changed as the freezer was frosting up. No problems since it was replaced. Happy with the fridge except for the depth of the doors. The depth is deep but there is not a lot of door space. With the door being so deep, we keep hitting our heads on the freezer door when we are looking in the fridge.

Delivery Issue

Nice looking

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased as a replacement for one that no longer worked. Aesthetically very pleasing. I like the stainless steel finish. It is a little smaller than I had hoped but I do have space issues so this worked. I was disappointed not to find a actual built-in cheese bin.

Mediocre Fridge

I don't like the fact that there is so much wasted space on the door...old fridges had 3 door shelves, this has two I don't like the fact that there is not a pull out drawer to put cheese etc on the top shelf inside the fridge as old fridges had Motor is way to noisy...and at times sounds as if something is wrong Space at the bottom of the freezer is limited due t...

A good midsized refrigerator

Nearly a year in service ,the unit performs quite well , with even cooling throughout ( thanks to the metal shelves which allow the air to flow freely from top to bottom ) ; the refrigerator has a classic design ,which is appreciated ; Recommended.

Difficult to control temperatures

It has been close to a year since I got this fridge and while it is working ok now, we have had ongoing issues with being able to regulate the temperature of both fridge and freezer. The dials are not labelled adequately in an understandable manner, and there are NO instructions on how to adjust the temperatures in the manual. This is completely unacceptable. Even a low end refrigerator should function properly and have complete instructions.

It works OK

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) The fridge is working well and we have had no issues. It is not quite as big as the one we replaced but we have made it work space wise. The one BIG disappointment was the fact that we couldn't buy the icemaker for it. We tried for months to no avail and finally gave up. If you have any, anywhere in the world, would you please set one aside for us. Thanks

Good for small spaces

I was very excited to replace the refrigerator in our small apartment with one that allows for more space in the kitchen. This is a no frills refrigerator, and that's fine. The reason I'm giving it only 4 stars is that the Lowe's website says that you can add an ice maker, but the one the website says is compatible is not--the sticker inside the refrigerator recommends Whirlpool W11510803, and that is what worked for us--we were even able to self-install.
