Great garage fridge

Great size and distribution of shelves. High gloss black outer doors show everything.

Basic refrigerator with no advanced features

Replaced a french door refrigerator with this unit. Freezer access is so much easier due many more shelves and door bins. No water or ice gives you even more interior room and reduces the likelihood of mechanical issues and water leaks. The only downside is that the unit is a bit noisier than I would like.

Not a nice quiet fridge.

Either too hot or too cold

On the second warmest setting it freezes eggs and vegetables in the fridge. The warmest setting is too warm. No way to adjust temperature other than selecting one of the 4 digital settings, plus sliding the freezer lever to colder or warmer. We've tried everything, and it is either too cold or too warm.

It saves electricity.

The lighting is great with plenty of space and the freezer is really great.

No one can repair these!

Ours broke down within 1 year. No one can repair them due to the new technology. Waited 1 month to get that verdict from Whirlpool and get resolution which was to get a refund. Meanwhile got the runaround. They also do not cover food replacement and if you decide to get an extended warranty through them, don't bundle it with any other purchases, because you wont be able to repurchase the warranties without paying significantly more. Don’t buy from Lowes

I waited four weeks for delivery of my refrigerator. The guys delivered it and left. I immediately noticed a big crack in the freezer area. I called to return it within 2 hours of delivery!!! That was on August 17. I’m still waiting for my replacement refrigerator.!!!!!!

Lowe's responded quickly to my issue.

When Jaylon delivered the refrigerator, he gave his best try to level the frig door. I called and Anna responded with installation updates and then...The AVENGERS appeared! Total Trash

A week after the floor-destroying delivery, the freezer was at 0 degrees F but the fridge was only at 40 no matter how cold I set it. Whirlpool customer service sent out a repairman who attempted to explain it all away, saying that was normal for modern refrigerators, the temp of the food is colder than my thermometer is showing, etc. Our food and especially milk doesn't last anywhere near as long as it used to. 4 years old and still a headache

Do not buy this fridge. This model is a lemon. The compressor failed and was replaced THREE times in the first year before Whirlpool replaced the whole fridge. And now, the compressor in that fridge just died. It is only 4 years old. Replacing the compressor is more than $1,000-- nearly the cost of a new fridge. Great fridge. Lots of freezer room.

So far, so good. I like the fact that it doesnt have an icemaker. Looks good,runs quiet and is very cold!

Wife likes it alot better than other ones
