Long lasting fridge

I have had this refrigerator for 17yrs and had never had issues. 6 months ago it had a leak with help from YouTube I was able to fix it easily. 3 weeks ago the freezer stopped freezing and 2 weeks later the top stopper refrigerating. Called a tech and he said there is a leak in the system which he recommended to buy another one since 17yrs for a refrigerator was great.

Stopped working after less than two years

Pros: I like the french doors (easy access without having to open both doors if needed). I like the bottom freezer and ice dispenser. Freezer has a divider, that makes it easier to keep things organized. I like the water dispenser & ice maker. Cons: Water filter needs to be replaced fairly often and they are expensive. Bottom freezer way to go

30 inch French Door Fridge

Overall, the refrigerator looks great and works well. The fingerprint-resistant finish is a nice feature because fingerprints barely show, and the ice maker produces ice quickly. Works fine - plastic drawers are feel Flimsy/cheap

My only complaint is the interior drawers and the way they fit into their spots is cheaply made. The plastic feels flimsy and therefore the drawers never feel as if they are locking into place and they always feel lopsided. The same with the shelves in the doors - the plastic is flimsy. Bad excuse for a refrigerator

New small French Door looks and works great!

Suggest any brand but Whirlpool

The 30" width side-by-side fridge with bottom drawer freezer model # WRF560SMHZ05 is junk! Installed in July 2024. First warranty service call April 2025 (ice maker creating a block of ice behind the drawer and breaker tripping) replaced the control board. Second warranty call for same issues in Dec 2025 (replaced main board and starter).
