Compressor Broke With Less Than 2 Years of Use

I bought this fridge for my guest house's half kitchen, delivered end of October 2024. The compressor fully gave out one year and 9 months after it was delivered, and this fridge was barely used since it was a low-traffic guest fridge. Whirlpool only offers a one year warranty. They advertise a 2-5 year warranty on the compressor, but the catch is it's only for certain models and guess what, this model is excluded. My new whirlpool refrigerator

Dont forget the buy extended warranty!

Terrible customer service

Still no call. Dont waste your money on Lowes extended warranty. Bought fridge AND warranty. Door does not seal or close properly. Manufacturer says call Lowes. Lowes says call manufacturer. 800 number goes to useless voice prompts. chat bot can do nothing useful. Horrible experience and fridge still broke.

Can be used inside your home as well as your garag

I like that it’s tall and not big but big enough for all one person needs. I need the door side switched

Not for the Garage

excess moisture

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] need to wipe down the interior with paper towels, and can wring out a cup or more. Reviewed owners manual, indeed had some food packages too close to the air vents indicated. Improvement, but even with very clear and open pathways for air circulation as they show, still way too much moisture buildup inside on the ceiling, the food packages, and shelves.

Optimistically cautiously hopeful

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a replacement after having the first one quit 3 different times over a two year period. It was finally deemed unrepairable and we were able to get a replacement through the extended warranty. I am fearful that this one will give us the same problems as there are many similar reviews from consumers. I had hoped we could have gotten a completely different unit. Time will tell. Check back with me in a year :)

Easy to use!

Weak seal around bottom freezer door

Don’t buy this!

I bought this in 2021 & like the set up, it holds a lot for its size. However, the freezer coils are mounted on to the freezer compartment ceiling, held up by a plastic cover held in place by 2 screws that are screwed into the plastic ceiling. As ice accumulated in this compartment it caused one of the screws to pop out & the coils were cockeyed! Sure seems like a design flaw to me, since the screw can’t be screwed back into a stripped hole we created a new drill hole in the plastic ceiling, and...

Poor craftsmanship and horrible service

We have yet to even plug this refrigerator in. Upon removing the plastic on the front of the refrigerator the Whirlpool badge was placed 1/4 off of level!!! It's so crooked no one could unsee it! I contacted Whirlpool, they will not do anything due to it being over 30 days, and then contacted Lowes and they too will do nothing about it. It's extremely frustrating to order something for new construction which you know you have to do way ahead of time to get any product on time...... and then o...

Dead in Three Years, Like Everyone Else

Died this week. Barely had it 3 years. Shame because I have all Whirlpool appliances. Considered fixing myself, but not sure it's worth it. Someone else mentioned the plastic wrap too. That always bothered me. 😕

defective after 8 months

I have spent the last 3weeks trying to schedule a successful service call. They have limited selections of vendors (2) that do not seem to want to service and they refuse to replace the product that is still under the limited warranty. I am now going to pursue a consumer attorney to handle the matter.

So much place to store and freeze all I want! in

I had to kneel to search for the frozen aliments. I never had a nice frozen ice cream I like. I lost so many foods to difficult to find here and there ... far away from my arm searching! And for a couple to small same size of my new one!
