The spacious interior with adjustable shelves and bright lighting surprises many who find it holds more than larger previous models. Reviewers consistently highlight quiet operation and reliable cooling performance. The ice maker is widely appreciated, though a small group reports initial malfunctions. Minor concerns include flimsy produce drawers and fingerprint visibility. Overall, most customers consider this a highly satisfactory upgrade.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is a good working fridge. I've only had it a few weeks so writing a review this early seems hasty but I was requested to do so. I love how all of the shelves are adjustable. The fridge is quiet and the icemaker works really well. The freezer area seems quite big enough for me and no frost build up. The magnetic strips in the doors work well to make sure doors are closed.

Great features
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve only had my refrigerator for a short period of time, so still getting used to it. I love the split shelves which allow me to adjust them for taller objects. I also love that the ice maker has an on/off switch. Whirlpool has always been a trusted brand for me.

Not as described
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was two inches shorter than described in specifactions. Model listed as 67 inches high, is only 65 inches. Very disappointing. Losing two inches may not sound like a lot, but it made a big difference when trying to fit items that I never had an issue with before.

Choose Whirlpool!
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My new Whirlpool refrigerator is just what I needed. One top door and freezer on the bottom. Plenty of room inside for all that I need to put in it. My vegetables stay fresh and with one shelf adjustment I am able to fit tall bottles on the top shelf. The temperature remains even and constant and I've had no problem with spillage anywhere within. My last refrigerator was 23 years old and I have no doubt that this one will carry me through for a...

Looks good, runs well.
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Generally, very satisfied. The bins in the frig are a little light weight and they could use a "stop" mechanism when you pull them out. Bottom freezer is huge improvement over my old Kenmore top freezer unit (though it ran reliably for or twenty-five years). Much more usable space and easier to access.

Spacious and perfect for my kitchen.
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This basic refrigerator has everything I need. I especially like all the spaces for condiments and things like milk and juice in the door. The refrigerator has ample space and everything in it is viewable.

better directions needed
Would Recommendpoor directions on hookup, the water line for the ice maker was unhooked on arrival, and nothing in the directions commented on what to do with the hose, it ended up leaking all over my floor for a week. please be careful to make sure the clear plastic hose on back of fridge is hooked to ice maker port.

problems on the day of delivery
Would Not RecommendThis refrigerator had problems on day one. After being plugged in for several hours the fan at the bottom and back of the unit started making noise when the fan blades were hitting the hose connection for the water pan. The ice maker hose was leaking as the shark bit connection didn't attach to the hose. Whirlpool warrantee repair line didn't call back. I do like the bottom freezer design and hope there will be no more problems/
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am pleased with the refrigerator performance. It keeps the food cold and frozen. I however am disappointed that you manufactured a machine with ice capabilities but dod not have the common sense to design a water filter for it. We happen to live where filtered water is needed. I have shut the water supply off. We now purchase ice for our use.

Loud Compressor
Would Not Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the fridge. i was disappointed it did not come with an egg container. Also the compressor is very loud - which we are not impressed with. Sounds like a very bad rattle. Which makes me wonder how long the fridge will even last.

From top to bottom freezer
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having to adjust from a top freezer to a bottom is different. I had height restrictions and wanted an automatic ice maker so this was the only option available from my supplier, unless I wanted a side-by-side (No way, why do they even make these?). Not crazy about the open wire freezer racks, missing the in-door storage, would have liked a water filter like my previous fridge had. I added a couple plastic bins to contain/organize smaller items....

Dimensions
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the whirlpool company. My old refrigerator had more space inside than this one. When I put what came out of my old fridge and put in my new fridge I had no more space for anything else. I still had room in my old fridge. The freezer on the new fridge is smaller than my old one. The reason we bought this model is the inside dimensions were supposed to be bigger than the one I had but, they are not.

Two items could be better.
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For the most part this refrigerator does it’s job. Two items: The refrigerator moves when opening the door, especially when the door seems stuck due to good sealant? At least it moves easily back to it’s proper placement. The ice keeper does not stop making ice, when the bin is full, due to the bar being too small. When opening the freezer top drawer, ice always falls out.
