No wonder it’s discontinued

Nothing but issues since I received this mess! Had the whole unit rebuilt pretty much and it’s been nothing but a headache since we received it! Now it’s throwing codes and not working ! Ridiculous.

TRULY A POOR DESIGN FOR ROUTINE MAINTENANCE

THE WASHING MACHINE WORKS GREAT UNTIL IT DOES NOT. LATELY THE 5D ERROR POPPING UPAND EVEN SHUTTING OF THE BREAKER FOR 10 MINUTES DOES NOT CLEAR THE BRAIN. AS IS SO CLASSIC THESE DAYS THE DESIGN ENGINEERS MADE IT IMPOSSIBLE TO ACCESS THE FILTER TO CLEAN IT. SOLID FRONT PANEL, NO PULL OUT DRAWER OR ACCESS FLAP DOOR. OPEN THE BACK PABEL TO FIND THE PUMP AND FILTER ARE UNREACHABLE IN THE FRONT OF THE CABINET. I WOULD JUST LOVE TO GIVE THE DESIGN ENGINEERS A DOPE SLAP FOR THIS ONE. MULTIPLE RESETS ...

Sometimes I have to wash the clothes 2x for it to smell clean and one load takes forever. But the part that really is upsetting me is that I cannot for the life of me get to this drain pump to clean it. The manual online is for general machines and it keeps showing a trap door which my model DOES NOT have! Who ever decided to create this with no trap door is wicked, I am very upset I wish I realized this when I purchased it a couple years ago

Filter very difficult to clean

In order to access the filter, you need to remove the entire front of the washer (15 screws, gasket ring and connectors) This is a major design flaw - The unit should have an access door to the filter like most other washers

Exactly What I Was Looking For

I wanted something close to what I had, without all the fancy stuff. It has met my expectations and so far, loving it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the different functions and the less amount of water. When we moved the previous owner left their top load washing machine behind. I tried to like it. I used it for a month and just could not anymore. Too much water and huge, long cycles. I had a front load at our previous home. MISSED it! So glad to re-invest in our new washer. This one is an upgrade from our first front load. I love the new drawer underneath! Worth it.

I've had this washer for two years. The main complaint is that it is very loud when it spins a load and rocks itself out of position, blocking access to the dryer. Moving it back is impossible for me and extremely difficult for my husband. Service reps have been out several times. They could find nothing wrong and the fix they came up with was to tape it to the floor. They've been back three times to put it back on the tape and each time instruct me on proper washing protocol. Worst machine on the market.

Stay away. Just after 12 months needs repairs equal to the price of the machine. Whirlpool does nothing to support their product or their customers.

Worst purchase of my life

PLEASE READ! Had this washer for 2 years. First thing to go bad was the boot for the door to keep the seal. not too crazy if you have a warranty. The worst thing is filter cleaning. There is the worst place to keep the pump for the drain and NOT have a filter cleanout panel. Ive had to clean out the filter once a month for 2 years and in the most painful way. Step 1 take off back panel. Step 2 DRAIN ENTIRE DRUM AND FLOOD THE ROOM. You have to take the hose off connecting the drum to the pump to ...

Not User Friendly: Hard to Access Filter
