Ratings & Reviews for Werner MT Pro 5-in-1 22-ft Reach Type 1A - 300 lbs. Load Capacity Telescoping Multi-Position Ladder

DO NOT TRUST THE FEET.

Dear Reader, I picked this latter up from home depot about 2 years ago. We had just purchased a fixer upper home and were in desperate need of a versatile ladder. I used this latter quite a bit for various projects in our renovation. However, a couple days ago I was using the latter, in the vertical position, to put Christmas lights and when I was coming down off the roof the latter slipped out, I fell, and badly broke my wrist. This latter does not come with standard flip down feet, rather j...

A really versatile ladder and easy to transport.

I bought the MT 22 to reach the fascia and lower roof levels for my two homes. I need access to hang Christmas lights and for roof & gutter cleaning. It replaced a small standard type 16 ft extension ladder. The MT 22 is about 6 foot in length folded that can fit is most SUV,s and in the back of my pickup truck without it having to hang well past the bumper as most extension ladders do. At first it seems a bit heavy (about 47lbs) but it makes for a very sturdy and stable platform. When setting ...

Great Ladder

Very sturdy and love the versatility for various home projects.

Amazingly Sturdy and Versatile

I borrowed this product from a friend and was amazed at its sturdiness and versatility. While it is heavy I am able to use it by myself. I am uncomfortable with heights so having the solid feel of this ladder under me is very reassuring. I decided to buy my own when I realized that it could be the only ladder I need.

The Only Ladder You'll Ever Need for Home Use

Not much I can add to the already outstanding reviews this ladder has received. The design is innovative, and the telescoping aspect makes it a much more easy-to-deal-with ladder than the traditional 20-foot design that folds up into quarters and can be unruly and dangerous when they swing open/closed. In my opinion, it's worth replacing those with this. The step ladder function is great and feels very stable and secure. Love the wide base design for additional stability, especially when you're...

Versatile...takes the place of several ladders

Very sturdy and I like the flat rungs. When lowering the slide portion to the lowest height be very careful not to get your fingers caught---could really break a finger.

Great ladder

Absolutely love the versatility of this ladder! Nicely made! I think the price is right for what I'm getting. It takes a little bit to maneuver the various positions but once I start using it more I think it will get easier. I love this ladder so much I'm buying a second one and a friend of mine is getting one too.

Great Ladder

I needed a tall ladder for the new house we moved into and this worked great for painting the 18 foot walls in the living room. It is really easy to move around even taking into account the size of it. Werner ladders are the only way to go!

Very convenient

This ladder was able to replace my big stepladder and longer regular ladder. Much easier to move around, too, as it folds up pretty compactly. It came in really handy trimming some large bushes. I was able to keep adjusting it around to get the right height in weird places.

sturdy product

If you want a ladder that can be a tall extension ladder and step ladder and still be durable and take up little space this is a great product.

Great ladder for indoor use

Ladder is easy to use and very handy for two story rooms. Easy to store, also, as a result of the collapsible design. A bit expensive for a ladder, but a great product.

compact but kinda heavy

I opted for a multi-use ladder mainly for the limited space to store it in my townhome, and in my hatchback. It fits quite nicely in the car (kia spectra5) mainly just losing the right half of the rear seat. It can be a little awkward toting around since it's so heavy for it's size, especially as a step ladder.

WORTH EVERY PENNY!!!

THE WERNER MT-22 IS VERY DURABLE AND HANDY! I SEE A LOT OF COMPLAINTS ABOUT IT BEING HEAVY, BUT I LOOK AT THE EXTRA WEIGHT AS IT BEING A HEAVY DUTY LADDER THAT IS GOING TO HOLD ME ( 240 LBS ) WITHOUT ANY PROBLEM. I WOULDNT LET THE WEIGHT SCARE YOU AWAY, ITS MUCH LIGHTER THAN MY OLD ALUMINUM EXTENSION LADDER.

It is NOT a 22 ft ladder

The Lowe's site states it is a 22 ft ladder, it is not 22 ft. It is actually several feet short of that. The 22 ft is if you are standing on the ladder you can reach 22 ft. Does that mean if I stand on the ladder and jump up 2 ft it is a 24 ft ladder?

Great quality product

Served the purpose and will be very useful in future.

This lader has a wide range of usefulness

I am a 74 yr old who "Would rather do it myself", & absolutely love this ladder. It takes up little room in my crowded garage; & can be used in many, many situations. Yes it is a tad heavy, but that makes it STURDY & I don't need to cart the whole thing around when only half of it is needed. Bought it at a "Big Box Store". The best ladder I have ever purchased for my uses.

Great Ladder

Just bought this ladder, and am very happy with it. I used it around the house in various positions. It is easy to use, not heavy to carry, and seems sold. Good buy for the working man and homeowner.

Great value, easy to use, light weight but strong enough for why we bought it.
