Reviewers consistently commend its reliability and feel safe using it for typical household work. light yet strong; well put together (mostly)
Would RecommendThe weight makes it easy for one person to handle this ladder. Plus, it's a Werner, which in my experience means good quality. My Werner stabilizer fits perfectly. Only negative: The ladder legs are I-beams. The edges of the "I" are not folded over to provide some cover for the sides of the legs (like they do on my older Werner 28"). Thus, when carrying a bucket in one hand down the ladder, the bottom of the bucket can hang up on the part of the step that goes through the leg, resulting in a pa...

BEWARE!! Extension ladder
BEWARE! My husband recently fell off this ladder due to the structural integrity of the ladder. He had it extended about 14 ft and it bent in the middle and the foot. He fell on a rock on his back. It is about 20 years old but maybe there needs to be a warning if this happens when it gets older??

extension ladder
Would Recommendadvertised as a 16 foot ladder with a15 foot usable length. There is a 3 foot overlap, resulting in a 13 foot usable length. My roof edge is 10 feet from the ground. I'm 72 so looking for at least 4 feet of the ladder extending above the roof so I have additional stability when getting on/off the roof. This ladder gives me not quite 3 feet. I would have been better off with an 18 foot ladder. The ladder itself is a well made and easily used unit.
