Wren 5600_slash_4500-Watt Portable Generator

I purchase this in case of a power outage I have not started it yet I had to wait until our son came over to help us put the wheels, handle and other stuff on it for we are elderly and it was a little heavy for us to get it out of the box and if you have Children that will do it for us well that is good ,we will be able to pull it now ,but the kids want us to wait to start it until tell they are here to make sure we are doing it right lol

Possibly the best generator at this price.

Missing Parts

I ordered the generator 10/10/2024, shipment arrived 10/18/2024. The package arrived in good condition with the exception of a small hole in the cardboard that cracked the wooden packing material but did harm the generator. I checked the packing list and the 2 axle pins were missing. I called Wen customer service, they said they would ship the missing parts. As of today 10/22/2024, I have not received a confirmation email about the shipping date of the parts. I can't start the generator without ...

Not reliable

I bought this April 2024 for hurricane power outage threats in Florida. Never took it out of the box until October 2024 after Hurricane Milton hit us. It started and ran for 10 minutes and shut off. Customer service was helpful with troubleshooting and identified a broken piston(pictured). They told me they would send me a new unit, but that does me no good as it will takes days or maybe weeks and I had a fridge full of food to protect. I asked the manufacturer for a refund and they said n...

Broken motor mounts

I bought one, assembled it and saw the motor mounts were broken. I returned it and got another- exact same issue. Seems like a good value, but I will not buy again.

Not a bot review...

Came with everything in fairly decent shape and packaging. Also in a timely fashioned giving the size and weight of it. Unboxed it, slapped the oil in it, some fresh non ethanol gas, and ran it for about 2 and a half hours. Started and ran rather well for the name of the unit 😅 let her run for about a half hour with nothing on it, let it settle in, than hooked up my deep freezer and window fan for the last 2 hours. Only time it seemed to "surge" was when my deep freezer would kick. Other than t...

Received broken unit twice

The first unit arrived and had broken engine mounts. We returned it and ordered another one. Received another broken unit. Its going yo be returned and I won't even consider this brand for anything else.

Easy starting good running basic generator

Fast and easy to start. Break-in went smoothly. Neutral was not connected to ground. The way I want to use it will require me to connect the neutral to ground for safety. The wiring diagram was not clear whether the neutral or the hot wire was connected to the circuit breakers. I purchased this to use in a weather emergency. Will find oul how well it works when this happens. Meanwhile, am running the unit every month or so to verify it is ready and am usining gas without ethenol and that ...

Just a little noisy but for the price can live wit

Works great.

Be careful

Never had a chance to try it. Was damaged when it arrived. I returned it and was reimbursed for generator but not 3 year warranty that l purchased or taxes l paid

Really good price

Started on the first pull

Makes a great lawn ornament!!

Assembled the feet, wheels and handles. Filled it with oil and gas and then tried to start it.... NOTHING!!! No lights on the control panel, no electric start and the pull cord to start it manually takes 3 men and a horse to move it 3 inches!! Total piece of garbage. Complete waste of time and money.

Two generators received with identical problem

Just returned my second WEN generator with a cracked motor mount. Very disappointed since it had a lot of power and features at that price point. I won't order a 3rd one because I believe that if it is not designed well enough to handle shipping, then it probably would stand up to long normal wear and tear.

excellent customer service
