Would RecommendThis seems to be a much better product than any sold in the store, but still it's a little heavy. I got it to use to cut shrubs near the ground. I think holding it above your head would be too dangerous as it is unwieldy with a heavy object at the end of a long stick. I've managed to cut through branches that are about an inch thick. I can't get through anything thicker. I wish someone sold cutting tools that weren't extremely heavy.

Very top heavy, arrived with gearbox leaking oil
Would Not RecommendPrice is excellent. Very top heavy when assembled. At over 60 years old I could barely hold it up for less than a minute at time and pole is not as long as other brand pole chainsaws. Tool seems average quality however it arrived in an undamaged box with the gearbox having leaked oil all over the motor unit and inside the package. If you are strong and only need to cut a few branches that are not too high this would be a bargain at around $60.
