Would RecommendWe disconnected our natural gas line and replaced our natural gas Weber with this electrical grill. Comparing the two, I'm extremely happy. We get the same results with grilled chicken and hamburgers. We also really like the new steamer option for cooking veges! The grease trap catches a lot of juices, which can be used in soups, if desired. The grilling area is about 2/3rds our previous grill, but it's still plenty of room for 4 lbs of chicken.

Lumin is good not great
Would RecommendI gave the grill a medium rating because it does some things well. However there is a major shortage of recipes that work well with the Lumin. If you try to use it like a gas or charcoal grill you will be disappointed.

It is much better than I thought it would be.
Would RecommendIt is easy to work for a senior, only issue I had was my husband left it on high with a grill mat inside for over 24 hrs. Blessed it did not catch on fire. but now I have residue I can not remove I have tried everything..... any suggestions??

A little disappointed
The lumen Grille is attractive, well built and easy to clean. My complaint is that the thermometer in the lid would not go past 400°. I called Weber Grill and they sent a new thermometer. I put it in and the new thermometer only goes slightly more than 400° after being on full heat for 35 minutes. For things like steaks I would like to be able to have the temperature go a little higher.
