Too Big

I bought this for my Q 2200 on the 6525 cart. I wanted to keep a low profile on our deck but with this cover the side-tables need to be kept open.. Even with tables open it's a loose fit on the 2200. The fabric is good.

PLEASE make the old version for carts w/folded arm

Same complaint as everyone else. Our old grill cover wore out, so I purchased a new one. This one is ginormous and the smaller one is too small. Grr. WHY did you discontinue the old one that fits a Q with the arms folded down? It was PERFECT! I ended up going with a generic cover from a brand called Classic Accessories that fits better than this one. I really just wanted to replace the one I had that was worn out with the exact same one because it looked nice and now I'm left with a baggy cover....

Does not fit the Q300/3000

I love the Q grill and own 3 of them for various places. I am so disappointed that I cannot get a proper cover for my Q300. The old one #6553 fit perfectly. This one is a generic cover that is some 20 inches wider. I can just use a tarp for the same effect. Not what I would have expected from Weber.

Perfect fit!

I bought this during rainy, windy spring. Kept the grill dry and fit like a dream. Especially like the velcro straps for extra security during wind storms.

The quality is awesome and the fit is perfect. Will definitely buy again.

TERRIBLE COVER

I HAVE BOUGHT TWO OF THESE GRILLES AND THINK THE GRILLE WORKS WELL, EASY TO CONTROL TEMPERATURE. HOWEVER; THE GRILLE COVER IS TERRIBLE! COVER IS MADE TO GO OVER GRILLE WITH SHELVES EXTENDED AND IS SO LARGE YOU COULD COVER A VW BUG. THERE SHOULD BE A COVER FOR PEOPLE WHO STORE THE GRILLE WITH SHELVES DOWN!

Poor design

Can’t believe Weber drop the old cover design. I bought a compact grill to fit a small space and now can’t buy a new cover to fit the grill with the trays in the down position. What was your “design” team thinking?

Disappointed

So disappointed that Weber dropped the previous Q3000 grill cover. The geometry of my deck is such that there is no room for the "wings" except in their down position. I bought the Q grill for it's compact design and loved the way previous covers fit perfectly, nice and neat. Now I get to look out at a sad looking grill in it's slumping suit, a la Charlie Chaplin. Can't wait to see it in the rain. I'll get lots of comments, I'm sure. PEOPLE, WHAT WERE YOU THINKING?!!

Fabric good quality, blows in wind

Was replacement for defective, shelves down style cover. The quality of fabric is much better with the replacement grill cover, but needing to leave the shelves up to use it , is not conducive to why I purchased this particular grill. I initially purchased as a space saver which it no longer is. I find that I will have to have a custom cover made, to be used in the only space I have for it.

A Different Cover Works Better For Me

I bought the 3200 for Christmas after owning a Q100 for 15 years and still going strong. This grills are outstanding and I will never own another. I was disappointed when I saw this big cover online and read the reviews. I just want a cover for the Q, not worried about the side tables or cart. I will use the grill a lot and I don't want to fool with a bulky cover every day. I purchased the grill cover for the Q200/2000 and it fits the bill perfectly. Disappointed with cover 7112

Recently purchased cover 7112 to replace an existing cover that covered the Weber grill since it was purchased 6 years ago. Not made as well to last as was the original cover. Thinner & flimsy. Is this a reflection of how Weber grills and associated accessories are now made?

Poor Replacement Option

My original cover did not require the (2) shelves to be kept in the up position. This one does. I won't purchase a replacement until Weber does a redesign. Go back to the original design!

quality

Received my 7112 cover today is not Weber quality other words junk too big drags on the ground. Im sure cover was design to store with shelves up I purchased the q3000 drill cause I could store with shelves down

perfect cover

I purchased the grill and wanted a matching cover

Does not fit the model it is made for

The cover does fit the model only when the side tables oar for storage folded up... nobody stores the Grill with open side tables. The cover is thought as a replacement for the cover I bought the grill with which fits the grill with closed side tables... that cover model is not available anymore

VERY GOOD QUALITY

You can tell right out of the box this cover is made to last. The velcro straps are the bottom are very helpful with keeping the cover where it belongs.

I bought this cover because the first one (small) was perfectly during the last 6 years, however this cover al the moment can be better. Really soft and light and absolutelly perfect for rain and sun. I am happy!, I suggest you!

Adequate cover

Bought this cover to replace the original cover for my Weber Silver A grill. While it is well made and better than the cheap no name replacement covers that are being sold out there, it is not of the same heavy duty material that the original cover was made of. I'm sure it will last a few years but certainly not the 15 years I got out of my first one.

Generic, non fitting cover

Although the material is favorable, the cover for a Q3000 grill has become a generic, large, non-form fitting cover that must be tied down with the velcro straps or it blows off. The grill must be left with the collapsible platform arms left in extended form. This is very inconvenient. If I had the ample space for a larger grill, I would it have purchased this one. Very unthoughtful to discontinue the form fitting cover for the Q3000 series. Unsatisfied.

Considerations

The cover is meant to be used with the flaps open, but it will be good to save the grill with the flaps down or close, so it doesn't. take to much space, in that case the cover fits too big. Great that is water resistant so we'll never worry that it rains.
