Would RecommendAt first it struck me as a little pricey so I waited for it to go on sale. When it arrived I could see the quality matched the price. It is pretty heavy and well made. It is like having a second grill. The only down side is it does take the entire surface of the grill (we have the base size smoker, not the XL). It would be nice to have a little area where I could grill something on the grates for the side but this is certainly not a show stopper.

Too small for Genesis S300
I bought a year ago. Not ideal. I have a 2016 Genesis S330 and it’s too small to sit on the ledge of the cook tub (the ledges the grates sit on). So I have to place it on top of the grates to keep it level and the lid doesn’t close completely. But I can cook with it. Again not ideal. Is there a add-on “hanger-ledge” to allow it to fit into the tub?

Easy Care
Would RecommendAbsolutely love it. So much easier to care for than my BS. Fits perfectly on my 4 burner Genesis II and heats evenly and quick. I only wish they had some way to hold on to the front when removing or installing in to the grill. It’s not lite and a fairly precise fit, makes switching out a little bit difficult.

False labeling…
I bought this two weeks ago, and just like some other reviewers, I bought it because it specifically said it fit spirit 300 series grills. It does not. And it’s not even close. Can’t say how disappointed I am. This was literally a meal the whole family was looking forward to and now it’s ruined. I can’t fix it because whenever I search for the proper insert it brings me right back here.

Griddle or Grates in One Grilling Unit - Love It!
Would RecommendThe griddle is a great addition to add to my Weber Genesis II, 3 burner grill! It is well made and easy to use. It comes ready to use (pre-seasoned). We used it to make Philly Cheese Steak sandwiches, smash burgers, and pancakes/eggs/bacon all within the first 24 hours. It cleans up really easy, just follow the instructions. I was happy to see the design allows for grease drippings to flow down to the catch pan. I don't use this as primary, but very nice for keeping the griddle clean while ...
