Poor design
Would Not RecommendToo difficult to re-attach. Faulty design if you ask me. But this is my 2nd Performer Grill and my 6th Weber overall.

Not as good as original design
It does work but not the quality I was hoping for. The ring that inserts into the leg holes is light gauge aluminum and easily “eggs” when trying to install. The basket does fit, remove and reinstall but not easily. The original design was far superior

High capacity ash catcher
Would RecommendWorks very well. So much easier to use than the small bowl shaped ash pan that comes on the standard or "entry level" weber. Simple and easy to install. Upgrades the value of the grill. Very pleased with it.

Finding that the deluxe Ash basket was an easy upgrade, I jumped on the purchase. First, off. Whomever states this is a quick install is straight lie. Took me at least 4 h...
