Poor design, cheap execution
Would Not RecommendBig disappointment, especiall for the price. The older bayonet mount was vastly superior. As other reviews have accurately noted, this updated design is terrible. It requires too much force squeezing an uncomfortable wire handle. Also, the two cylindrical pieces do not join smoothly, rubbing and catching because they are not made precisely concentric. If you are handy, this can be addressed but it'll take some fussing to render it useable. But it will never work as it should. Seriously, the Webe...

an upgrade worth getting
Would Recommendthis is definitely an upgrade on the ash catcher that came with the grill. I like its higher capacity and the fact that if a hot coal falls from the grill it's securely in the catcher and not where it could bounce onto the ground. My only criticism is that to remove it, you have to squeeze the handle pretty hard to release the little bolts on the side. While you definitely want this to be well secured when it's in place, it's hard for my arthritic hands to squeeze it hard enough to release i...
