New Weber Genesis E-330 Stealth All Black

I was replacing an older Weber Spirit II, 3 burner, that needed several repairs. Weber provided parts at no cost but although I used to be a DIY, age & health made making the repairs myself too much of a chore. Local handymen services quoted high prices for labor, so I decided to treat myself to a new 3 burner grille with sear feature. Missed Essentials

Looks great. 1) Horrible elevated grill rack on back wall of bbq… put rack of pork or a couple lbs of meat and the rack pops off and falls onto the lower grill. 2) No shelves of any kind under the bbq - just empty space! I shouda looked before I bought it! This bbq is not worth $1099… it does look nice but not $1099 nice. My previous Weber Genesis model (year 2010) was much better.

defective grill

the coating on the grill chipped off first day we used it we had to purchase new grill inserts and could not return the defected ones. not fair it was brand new grill purchase

Some Good, Some Bad

The good: It's a stunner. Genuinely — this thing looks the part on a patio, and I'm not mad about that. More importantly, it cooks. Even heat, great sear, no dead zones I've found. That's the job, and it does the job well. And the top half feels like Weber. Solid, tight, well-made. The parts that touch the food are the parts they clearly cared about. Another Faulty Gas Regulator

I had the grill for one month and had used it only four times; all four times were a great experience as it generated plenty of heat was easy to regulate. But, I head out to use it for the fifth time and immediately hear nothing but gas leaking and within about 10 seconds of troubleshooting, I identified a faulty regulator hose. Fantastic grill and it looks super cool too! I've been using Weber gas grills for more than 30 years. This one is by far my favorite. Cooks evenly and heats fast. I love the searing burner.

The Best Grill I’ve Ever Owned

First of all, this grill is beautiful! I love the black and it’s easier to keep clean (from cooking). We keep it covered when not in use to protect it from the birds. It heats up quickly and it only took a few cooks to figure out where to set the heat to get the best results. I bought the half griddle and LOVE it!
