Why didn't I buy one of these sooner?

High Quality Spray Painter at Fair Price

This is a fairly-priced, easy-to-use spray painter. I used it to paint my porch, including its decking, stairs, and wrought iron rails. Clean-up was a breeze. I recommend it to any serious DIYer.

Easy to use and clean, precise spray, recommended

Great little sprayer for any medium sized job.

Love the ability to control the volume of paint coming out of the head. The spray direction and ease of changing work great and reduces waste. I sprayed outdoor swing and wind mill in just a few hours, including primer.

Stained a fence.

Bought it to stain my fence because my old hands can't brush that much anymore. It was easy to use and worked well.

The perfect DIY sprayer

I bought this to paint my deck, I have a two story deck. I own the graco project painter plus as well, this paint sprayer was just out of the box much more convenient, it did have some overspray to get used to, but once you dial in the spray intensity, it is very easy to control. I am very pleased with how much time this painter saved me, and how easy it was to set up and start working, I would recommend buying a painting suit and mask/ eye protection. Great for the price

I’ve never owned a paint sprayer, but bought this one after a lot of research, review reading and YouTube. It’s great for the price and does the job, but dialing it in can be a bit of a headache. I absolutely recommend diluting your paint by 10-20%, it’s just a must. At least it was for my projects-all outdoor. Mailbox, fencing, etc. My paint was thick to start and I found I had better coverage with dilution. It’s easy to clean! So that’s a huge +.

Garbage

On the box and on their website it states “The power to spray unthinned paints and stains”. Absolutely untrue. Tried spraying a primer coat on wood, sprayer was spitting paint and spraying unevenly. Then dribbling out of the nozzle with the unit off. Spent another full day sanding the wood I’d just sprayed back to smooth. Tried thinning the paint per Wagner recommendation. Sprayed better but not evenly. Spent a day communicating with Wagner customer service, they sent a new nozzle. Same result. ...

So far, so good

I bought this product for small to medium sized jobs. I've used it twice so far and both projects went well. The first project was the underside of a patio cover. I was able to paint upward without a problem. The second project was on eves and gutters, so spraying mostly level. No issues here either. Not a bad product

I've never painted a deck, and i've never used a sprayer. I did one third of my deck and rails on my hands and knees with a roller and brush. It took two days. This little item did the remaining two thirds in five hours, including two hours of drying time in the middle, and an hour of cleaning the machine out. Leaves nice finish

I have just finished painting 19 gallons of primer and paint in the last week. The sprayer did great after I learned settings for varying viscosities. Do need to clean outside of nozzle regularly while spraying or pattern spits. My arms get pretty tired holing the weight for that long.

Worked one time

Used on second job - worked a a few minutes then stopped - unable to get it working again - and of course I’m past the 90 day return

Unbelievably disappointed

I bought this after careful research, and even found it on sale. I went for the 3500 instead of the 2500 because I had a slightly bigger project and was using paint and not stain. I watched all the videos and read all the instructions and set it up exactly the way I was supposed to. From the moment I started using it I had trouble. It was splattering everywhere. Sprayer does not work

Numerous settings allow the user to define how they want paint applied. Spent a couple hours working with the settings and could never get proper coverage. Plus, the sprayer sounds like it is going to fail while spraying but sounds good without anything in the tank. I attempted to return the sprayer and Lowes rejected it. They calculated the return policy based on when I order it and not when I actually picked it up at the store.

Good sprayer, I bought it for my wood privacy fence, it covered well, wish it had a larger vessel to hold the stain , very happy with it though.
