Great wallpaper steamer

Excellent home use steamer. Worked very well helping to remove our 12" wallpaper border, greatly sped up the process. We only used distilled water.

Not for use on wallpaper that has been painted

This product would not work on the wallpaper that I needed to remove because it had been painted with at least two colors of paint. It just wanted to make a mess of things even though a used a thing to score the wallpaper. I suppose there was just too much paint on the wallpaper otherwise the steamer would probably have worked.

Removes linoleum adhesive

I bought this to remove very old, hard linoleum adhesive from a wooden floor. It did the trick where turpentine, gasoline and various goos sold by Lowe's failed.

It works

I have 2 layers of wallpapers on my walls. This steamer worked great. I would recommend putting down plastic where you are steaming because of the leaking so you don't ruin the floors and getting a towel to lay the steamer on. I followed the instructions and let it warm up for 15 minutes. Because my wall has so many layers, I held it on the wall for about 30-45 seconds and the wall paper came off super easy. Definitely recommend this.

Helpful for removing wallpaper but drippy

Liked: large water capacity, helps get the wallpaper adhesive off Disliked: pretty leaky so the floor gets pretty wet and sometimes hot water drips on you

A Must Have If You Are a Novice

I have started doing projects on my own for the first time, and I am a senior. I purchased the house I have now 3 years ago. The wallpaper in the kitchen needed to be replaced then. So, about 2 weeks ago, I decided to take it on alone. Only way to remove wallpaper

It worked great! Made removing wallpaper so much easier. Won’t remove any more wallpaper with out it.

Worth every penny!

I bought this to remove wallpaper in 2 bathrooms. I purchased because my wallpaper was adhered to bare sheetrock (no paint). I was concerned the adhesive would cause damage to the sheetrock as I pulled it off. I am glad I made this purchase! The process was a breeze. The paper pulled off easily and any remaining adheisive "slid" off the wall with the help of a putty knife. One con: This unit does "spit" condensate quite a bit.
