Nice and simple humidifier

This humidifier is so easy to use, the directions are great. It works like a charm!

Get humidifier

This is a great humidifier. It makes no noise and is easy to use, but, you must be prepared for a rigorous cleaning on a weekly basis. It's suitable for one room so if you need more, buy a bigger one.

Not worth it

Set it up and it started just fine for about 5 mins then shuts off. The red light stays on, supposed to mean water is empty but it's a full tank.

Vastly inferior to earlier versions

They just couldn't leave well enough alone I suppose. I've owned various iterations of this model for years, and like most things these days, the latest changes have resulted in a definite downgrade in quality. The heating element is now upside down in the mist chimney, which makes it next to impossible to totally soak in vinegar. So what does the manufacturer recommend? Works well and quickly. No problems cleaning or using.

I love the heat steam better than tha cold products.

Not at all worth $42.00

Was wanting moister in a studio apartment. This product would work well in a 40 inch x 40 inch box. I'll go with a different brand when replacing this product. This time I got took and it won't happen again.

Warm moist air

Needs filling each day. Use from 11:30 pm to 8-8:30 AM everyday. Didn’t clean system for 7 days. It had chemical build up in bottom unit. Funky sediment stuck to plastic. Need to use distilled or purified water

Old standby

Old fashioned evaporative humidifier -- called hot mist to distinguish it from newer cold mist ones, but doesn't really have a mist at all, just evaporates water. Moist air comes out of the top -- turns into mist only if it mixes with cold air and droplets condense. Advantage over cool mist is that it doesn't cool the room. The vicks one works fine, 1 gallon lasts about 12 hours.

Not as effective as we hoped

On the higher setting the tank empties in under 8 hours. Although the humidifier is in a small room, it is hard to feel its effect.

'"Reset"

Search on "Reset Light" for this product before making a purchase. There is something defective in the engineering tolerances of the plunger-reset light interconnect in many purchased units. The fixes recommended by customers who got the unit to work included physical alterations. Smarter to not purchase.

A much needed "friend"

The cooler weather has caused the air to be extremely dry, enough so that it was causing me nasal pain. This humidifier runs for 24 hours on low and 12 to 16 hours on high depending on the amount of salt that I add. I always add at least a quarter teaspoon of salt which seems to help alot towards extra steam. I make sure to clean the entire unit weekly, regardless. Other than refilling the tank I run it 24/7. I run it in my bedroom at night and it is very quiet. It appears to be very well made ...

Surprisingly Great

We bought this to replace a different, more expensive model that had stopped working. This one is so much better at much less the cost. Works great in the bedroom and makes it easier to sleep with more moisture in the air. Highly recommend!

Disappointed

This had all great reviews but it doesn’t even run all night and it hasn’t helped with my sinus issues at all. Bought a much smaller one for my sons room and it lasts much longer and the steam comes out instantly!
