What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise paint samples for enabling confident color decisions with exceptional accuracy and practicality. Most reviewers highlight that samples "perfectly match" full gallons and existing walls, helping avoid costly mistakes. The size is celebrated as ideal for testing multiple walls or small projects, with many noting "just enough" paint for touch-ups and stenciling. Paint quality receives consistent praise for smooth application, great coverage, and one-coat performance. A few customers mention pricing concerns and note that samples come only in satin finish, but these minor drawbacks are far outweighed by overall satisfaction.

Would RecommendGreat for color samples or small painting projects!!
Great to Confirm Color Choice
Love the ability to get samples of the color wanted. You can only get them in "flat," the non glossy version but it allows you to verify how the color looks in your room. It can really look different at home with your lighting. And if a change is needed, it is so much less expensive to change the color before buying several gallons. Folks in the Lowes paint department are so nice and helpful.
best customer service!!!!
Would RecommendThe paint clerk made up two samples to get the color to match. It came out perfect the second time. All this for a sample size can of paint. Thanks for some of the best custormer service I seen in a while.
This was to match paint that I already had, with the product code, and was also purchased at at lowes. Did not match.
Smooth Coverage
Would RecommendI use Valspar paint most of the time when I refinish furniture or have any other painting projects. It goes on well, dries quickly and looks great. I bought these samples to touch up a dining room chair and am sure it will look great. Also nice that they had a members special of boho!
Great idea!
These samples were a great idea from the paint associate. Just what I needed and more than enough at a great price.

Lowe's ability to match my kitchen cabinets.

Price was $5 for samples. Not much paint for the price of basically $7
