Ratings & Reviews for Utilitech 36-in High Velocity Indoor Industrial Fan, in Black
Ratings may include incentivized customer reviews.
What Customers Are Saying
Customers praise the fan's powerful airflow and effectiveness in large spaces like garages and warehouses, with most describing it as excellent for ventilation and summer cooling. However, many highlight excessive noise as a significant drawback, noting it remains loud even on low speed and interferes with conversation. While some accept the noise as a trade-off for performance, others find it disappointing. A few report issues with airflow direction or minor assembly concerns, but most consider the powerful ventilation worthwhile despite the noise.

Would RecommendThe fan is excellent. We bought two but only needed one. Keep in mind it is loud but has two speeds.

Way too loud for mediocre performance...
Would Not RecommendI've had this fan about 3 years so at least it has held up. That's about the only good point. EXTREMELY LOUD even on the low setting and it doesn't move that much air (compared to it's jet engine level roar). It will also "walk" on a hard surface until it contacts something solid (like my car where it rubbed through the paint before I caught it). Spend your money on something with a better CFM/Decibel ratio.
damaged unit
Would Not RecommendThe product apparently seems to be dropped and damaged on one side that's unfortunate. additional parts we're missing. The contractor used to deliver the unit .utilizing a small car which made it difficult for the person to take the unit out of the vehicle ,luckily I was there watching the poor guy taking it out of the back of his car .but unfortunately the unit wasl p damaged.
Flimsey and LOUD!
Would Not RecommendYes, it blows air at a pretty good velocity but the blades are extremely loud. The framing is weak and flimsey and flexes to the point the fan blade hits the frame when moving it. if it wasn't so darn hot right now I would already returned it!

Was not delivered at my house

For this price, I expected a great product
Expensive, loud, and not impressive. I'm not sure if something is wrong w this item. I have a much smaller fan of the same brand - it does the same job for a fraction of the price and watt consumption.
Easy to move
Would Not RecommendMoves A LOT of air.

Breeze! Large capacity air exchange
Awesome fan; moves large amount of air quickly and quietly. Use indoor or outdoor to circulate air to either remove odor or promote drying if needed.
Excellent
Would RecommendI needed this fan for an HVAC emergency and it did the trick. Moves a ton of air and the motor doesn't get too hot.
