very loud and rattling

worked for a week!!

Lasted 5 months

Bought this on Apr 4 2026. Stopped working September 14 2026. Will be contacting Lowes to see if they will refund me. Maybe it's just me but it seems like something that is as simple as a fan should last longer than that. It was assembled and turned on in my garage. Never went anywhere else. Just quit working.

Broken within two years

It suddenly got real loud like wake you up from a sleep loud and squeaky. I took it apart and tried to put some lubricant on it and put it all back together but it’s still squeaky and loud. I think it’s a bearing in a part I can’t get to. Can’t use it because it keeps me awake and I could watch a movie with it on because it was too loud.

Impossible to get the blade knob off!

This fan should be easy to assemble, but it is impossible to get the blade knob off and there are no troubleshooting instructions in the manual or online. So disappointed in this product! The help desk is only open certain hours of the day so no way to get assistance.

great fan if you already have the parts at home.

Luckily I had another one just like it. The new came with no piping and no remote. Had to use the parts from the old one as I would have had to return it myself and I have no car or a way to get there.

Crap. Didn't last 30 days before it died. Used it in bedroom at night. Went to turn on , lights up on power and speed control. Motor will not turn on. Would not recommend.

Loud but functional

I bought 2 of these when my AC went out over 4th of July weekend during a FL heatwave. A little loud but got the job done. Made the 97 degree outdoor,91 degree indoor tolerable.

Return desk: A special thanks to Lowes employees, Cecilia and Branden. It was an easy return/exchange. They even went through the new box to make sure everything was there. I mean who does this, Cecilia and Branden, that’s who :-) As far as the fan, I’m happy. I bought the same fan in 2022 and it’s still working great. That’s why I bought this one.

great features

The A/C went out in the office, and it will be a month for the replacement. the fan moves a lot of air which helps keep the office from becoming unbearable hot. has remote controls.

Works as it should, but cheap material.

Purchased this fan just to circulate air in my bonus room. The material is a lot cheaper than expected, however it does the job. Went together easy enough and blows hard on high and the remote works well.

I ordered a black 18 inch fan with remote and I did not get that, they sent me a high velocity pedestal fan 16 inch.. never again will I order from them.

Saved the day

I bought this fan in dire need after my AC started to fail and I had to wait for service for a few days. This fan made it bearable. It provides great airflow and it oscillates and it has multiple speeds. I carried it from room to room, to maintain a comfortable temperature. I wish I had purchased 2 fans to maximize the cooling effects. It was a good purchase.

Crappy pedestal fan

Cheap base post that dented when I turned the bolt to tighten. Unusable! Then one of the cheapo plastic blades broke within the first 10 minutes of using. Junk, don't buy.
