Would RecommendHas a ceremic base, not plastic. Good for heat bulbs. I didn't see the standoff cage when I got mine, and I looked for it. Not sure if it was missing, but I didn't really need it, so I got it anyway.
The rivet to hold clamp mechanism has broken

Light Weight, Good Design, great in Winter!
Would RecommendSize is good and helps project the heat more forward. The cord is long enough to hang on a shelf and still reach the socket. Light weight and the clamp it comes with is strong.

I liked that it had a more robust socket than cheap competitors but it did feel kind of cheaply made I hope it will last Priced right at under $17.00

The shipping box was fine but the heat lamp fixture was all bent out of shape and the socket was hanging loose, this. Is not from all the shipping. G h
