Old School Wins Again

LED lighting has taken over in the shop. Our flashlights, headlamps, and work lights are dominated by the LED. I wanted something more traditional and something with a much warmer color index. This “drop light” as they were called is perfect for me. The color of light can be adjusted by a simple bulb change. The lighting is defused flood with no hotspots. The light is inexpensive, no batteries to change, and is as dim or bright as you want it to be. Never rule out of school tools.

Bought it for heating a very small temporary greenhouse for some loquat saplings that I'm encouraging to grow. Portable work light

Use to illuminate area around new shed at night. Works great and lights up the entire area, better than expected.

I use it as a work light. I installed an LED bulb and it provides lots of light. The LED bulb keeps it cool.
