My old analog timers were difficult to get accurate, which meant that even when they were all set to go off at the same time, it would vary by over 15 minutes. Having the digital timer allows them to now accurately go off within seconds of each other! It also eliminates the audible clicking that the analog timers had. No directions in English
Would Not RecommendThe included directions were only in Spanish. I tried to get directions online in English at Utilitech and was directed to a website that would cost me $55 a month to get help. I went back and got through the first few directions with the pictures and my limited Spanglish. Then the pictures stopped. It's being returned.

It’s near impossible to program with so many steps. Then when it shows the correct program you finally got entered, it doesn’t turn the lights on at the set time. It’s a timer not rocket science. Avoid this at all costs.
