Would RecommendI originally purchased this item to control various Christmas lights via remote control. It worked so well that I purchased a second set to use for everyday items in our house. The infra-red remote signals are unique and only work on the 3 plugs that come with that set. One nice feature is each plug has a separate button to control it, but there is an "all" button which will turn on/off all 3 devices
