It died after a year and half. The protection plan ran out.

It throws a ton of heat.

Great little heater. This thing really packs a punch for its size. Used it to heat the garage for a birthday party, and ot kept it nice and cozy.

Safe and good

Very reliable and safe to keep working all night. Will cycle on and off to maintain the temp setting. Intended for a single room.

Very poor durability

Don’t waste your money on this unit. It failed the second time I used it, only one month after the warranty expired. I purchased this unit in January 2025 and used it for around two weeks while waiting for a repair part for my furnace. The unit worked fine when new but failed after two weeks when it was recently used to heat a small room. It was only set to 50 degrees to provide freeze protection. I purchased this heater in October 2024 and used it that winter in a small laundry room. It seemed to be performing well. It wasn't moved at all. I used it in the same room this winter and it just stopped blowing heat out. it only blows cold air. I only had it 16 months. I'm very disappointed.

Great for small space

[Employee of lowes] We like the heater and it has been nice when we want to warm up a small room, but I was hoping for some more power. Definitely keeping it around for those colder days when we wanna save some $ and leave the heat off, but take the chill out of the air.

Utilitech rn24083104jk 1500 watt infrared heater

We had this product for a year and a week before the fan quit working. Used on and off from January 2025 to March 2025 and October 2025 to January 2026. Always purchase a protection plan. The similar unit that it was purchased to replace worked from 2008 until 2025.

Only lasted for 1 year.

Heater worked great. But quit working after 1 year.

No more heat

Used this unit from Dec 2024 to April 2025, and again from November 2025 to December 2025. Unit as of January '26, unit only blows out cold air. Heating elements appear to have malfunctioned. Should've just spent the money on an Eden Pure.

This little heater works great. For such a small heater we can't believe how much heat it puts out.

Warms the area really good

First one died in a month. Second in a year

Bought one to back up heat our living room since we have a drafty, old house. We thought the quartz would hold the heat better and blow the heat better than oil heaters. It seemed ok. However, it died within 3-4 weeks. We exchanged it for a new one. The second one died 11 months later. It had been used for about 3 months last winter and 3 months this winter. The heat was ok but we can't buy something every year for this.
