They work great for me. they are lying in the wet yard as we speak and no problems with shorting, etc. They have plug outlet caps for outlets not in use.

Best thing for outdoor Christmas lights

Don’t know how I managed lights before without this. It’s such ease in being able to plug in more to one outlet then having to connect multiple.

I like the fault detector reset but don’t like that it has a lip on it which hinders some extension cords and can’t be plugged directly into a wall unless you cut it off.

5-way splitter is better than 3-way

This is a very convenient way to run fewer cords in my holiday displays. So much better than just the 3-way outlet splitters. I have used them in the yard and mounted on the side of the house.

I can use this inside or outside. Holiday decorations or just around the garage. Heavy-duty and decently heavy gauge rated so you can use it for almost anything as long as you know you're NOT overloading the circuit breaker or internal wire rating.
