Ratings & Reviews for Utilitech 1/6-HP 115 -Volt 25.0-GPM Thermoplastic Submersible Utility Pump

What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this pump for powerful, reliable water removal in emergency situations like basement floods and pool draining. Most highlight its ability to move large volumes quickly and run continuously for hours without failure. Many appreciate the simple plug-and-play design requiring no complex setup. However, some report actual flow rates of 6-10 GPM versus advertised 25-30 GPM, and several note hose adapter threads strip easily and detach unexpectedly. Despite these specific concerns, most customers consider it highly effective for urgent water removal needs.

Would RecommendI use this to pump the last 6" of water out of pool at the end of every season before taking it down and it works great! Before, I was using a shop vac and it took forever. This was a great investment!

Failed after one use
Would Not RecommendThis pump did great work getting water out of a flooded areas quickly. However, the next flood I had (A week later) the pump did not work at all. Very disappointing especially spending the money on something like this and having it be unreliable.
