Paint prep - the real work part of painting

Use it ( TSP & Bleach) for cleaning before painting. Old School method, but the paint stays on long after a paint job that got “normal” cleaning is peeling. Wear your PPE!

Gets job done

Was somewhat packed together..likely because it attracts moisture from the air & is pkgd in unlined box. Was easily broken up to measure out & use. Seems to be an effective cleaner even though it's not too good for the environment. There are other alternative products, but I feel this one works better.

TSP cleaning powder

TSP is great mixed with bleach at strip cleaning a surface in preparation for paint. Use with brush or pressure washer and cleaning wood is much easier accomplished.

Economical and effective

Really nothing to dislike. This package is a great value and the product is great for wiping down interior walls before painting.

True Cleaning Power

We have been using the real TSP for decades. This truly works on everything. We even add a bit to our laundry for superior cleaning. Cleansers such as Tide used to have a touch of TSP, but were forced to eliminate it. Tide became useless as a detergent. We are grateful that Lowes continues to carry this amazing cleaning product.

Great Cleaner for Many Things

Works well for cleaning surfaces, especially in preparation for paint. If surfaces have mold and mildew, consider adding some bleach to supercharge the cleaning. Rinse well with clear water to remove residues. Making a very strong solution in hot water will etch glossy surfaces to improve the bonding of a new coat of paint. Product is great. I used search for it and pickup at store. Didnt see the smaller size option but I'll find a use for it

Great cleaner

I’ve used this product many times. I like that it has no suds, but cleans great! I used it to clean my roof before painting it. I highly recommend it.

Cant beat it

Needed to clean two rooms that had been smoked in for 30 years with walls stained brown from nicotine and this did the trick

Not good for oil removal on driveway

So I thought I'd try tsp on my driveway where there was oil from a dripping vehicle but it didn't do a very good job

Easy to use

Must have bleach to go with it - easy to use - not quite as dangerous as some of the others -but must wear pants,long sleeves, shoes, safety glasses and rubber or vinyl gloves. Only need one box - it cleans a lot and is cheaper than other stuff

Bought TSP for a craft project and have used it on about 4 other non craft things since! Great cleaner!

Washed some knotty pine walks

We used this to clean up some knotty pine walls Seemed to work well

Never without it at our house. A little goes a long way
