What Customers Are Saying
The Hedge Trimmer attachment is a mixed-performance product. Many users found it effective for trimming hedges and bushes, praising its flexibility, power, and ease of use. However, a significant number reported quality and durability issues, with the attachment breaking or malfunctioning after limited use. Some also noted it struggled with thicker branches and was heavy to maneuver for extended periods. The product may be suitable for light-duty trimming, but may not meet the needs of those with more demanding requirements.

Would Not RecommendI purchased this hedger several years ago at Lowe's in Chico, Ca. I had attached it to a Craftsman gas pole saw and it worked flawlessly for about 15 minuets. That's when the blades stop functioning. I put it up on a shelf and that is where it sat until recently. So I removed the two hex screws that hold the tube to the body, then I removed the 1/2 inch nut and separated the two parts. This is what appears to be the problem. There are 2 gears that must mesh in order for the blades to functio...
Average for the cost

Compatible with Husqvarna ?
Does anyone know if this attachment would be compatible with a straight shaft Husqvarna string trimmer?
Efficient but cumbersome.
Would Not RecommendDoes a good job at hedging. The weight makes it cumbersome to handle.
Love craftsman tools very reliable.
Would RecommendAs an attachment I can easily swap from one to another without have to completely buy a new tool.
I would highly recommend it to everyone
Would RecommendThis trimmer does great
Craftsman hedge trimmer attachment
Qualitiy cutter attachment I purchased for my Craftsman weed eater. Rips through vines and undergrowth like a savage. Also has variable angle adjustment. A bit heavy but more powerful than the battery powered units.
They hang up easy
Would Not RecommendHad to grease it and adjust so it would work
Fits a TroyBuilt too.
Would RecommendA little heavy, so you’ll want to use the included shoulder strap for anything other than trimming a single bush. The teeth are spaced a little closer than my dedicated handheld trimmer so it won’t cut as large a branch as I’d like, but it gets the job done on typical branches. Make sure you oil the teeth before you start, I just drip motor oil on it every time I fuel the power head and I don’t have any problems.
Kinda heavy
Would Not RecommendCuts ok, kinda heavy.
