Would Not RecommendUsed this maybe 5 times and on the 5th something internal broke. Troybuilt the manufacture was no help saying they have no history of issues with the shafts/gear failures in their system. But a quick search of reviews and you see there are other examples where customers have experienced the same failures. Buy a trimmer from another company.

Would Not RecommendIt doesnt work at all, thing oroduct is poorly made and doesnt work at all. Within 5 mins from the time i first attached it to a power head (that is manufatuer recomeneded for use with trimmer plus products) the trimming blades stopped engaging. Do not buy this product it is poorly built the mechanical parts inside the shaft that make the blades isolate failed befire i could even trim on single bush. Would Not RecommendOne star because I couldn't give fewer. I was very excited to use this hedge trimmer. It looks well built. Apparently it isn't. This thing broke in the first minute of use on a branch about 1/8" thick. What a let down.

Would Not RecommendThe best thing i can say is that this looked great coming out of the box. It died 10 seconds into the first cut. It got clobbered by 1/4” boxwood. It still looks great going back into the box for return though.

Would Not RecommendThe idea behind it is good. On my second one. first one lasted 5 minutes. the second lasted almost 10 minutes. something inside the gearbox keeps stripping. figured for the price it should be a decent product. Far from decent.
It Works
Definitely works better than electric trimmer but I was hoping for wider cutters to handle thicker branches. It's nice not to worry about cutting the cord but the extra length will take a bit of getting used too. Overall I would recommend this product... Over

Would RecommendAs soon as you get it home from purchasing this, take the gear box panel off on the unit and pack the box with grease. I also added a drop or two of oil on each cutting blade and surface that slides. Ill update review later on longevity
