Would RecommendNo more rotten wood deck stairs for me. I had an easy order, check out and pickup all took one week. product was in great shape; I used a 15% off coupon. Lowes Associate offered to help load into the vehicle, I had to cut to 8 foot lengths to get it into the vehicle, so I brought a portable circular saw and took care of it myself. It was nice that the Associate at Lowes offered to help load the Trex. I installed the product, with the recommended trex screws. All look s great.

Damage
Would RecommendTwo of the 4 were damaged. These are expensive select Trex boards used for top rail on deck. Didn’t see the damage until they were cut and fitted! Obviously damaged in delivery to the store. They were wrapped so we didn’t see the damages.

This is the most mis-managed and unprofessional store I have had the displeasure of working with. Going on 4 times to get one order delivered undamaged and correct and it is still not right. They so called pro staff and managers have screwed this up so bad it is a wonder any contractor work with them. From the original fork lift operator dtagging 24 trex special order boards across the paved parking lot and gouging the (yes I refused half of them due to excess damage), to another who off load...

Composite Deck Boards
Would Not RecommendI ordered 9 board pieces, but only 7 were delivered. Unfortunately, I was not home when delivery was made. It is unacceptable to miscount 20%; this is unlikely a mistake, it seems more intentional.

Would RecommendRebuilt an old pressure treated deck 5 months ago. It looks great but I now have white lines and spots that do not wash off. I may have gotten some defective boards.

Damaged boards
Would Not RecommendI ordered 43 Trex 20 ft. grooved boards. I paid to have them delivered. 5 of the boards were obviously damaged, but sent anyway. 3 boards had what appeared to be tire marks. I requested 5 replacement boards. 1 of the 5 replacement boards had a manufacturing defect. I don't understand why Lowe's accepts boards that have obvious flaws leaving the customer to request replacement boards with extra time involving order and delivery for both Lowe's and the customer. Extremely frustrating....

Long lasting and solid
Would RecommendWe bought these Trex boards to replace pressure treated boards on our deck that just couldn't withstand the GA summer heat. They are easy to install, but require their own type of screws that have a different head, so it requires a specific screw drive other than a Phillips head. They have been down a couple years at this point and they are great. The only downside is that they get very hot in the summer. We put down an area rug for the space we walk on and that did the trick. Expensive, but wel...
