The cordless trimmer has plenty of power to trim even very tall weeds and does an excellent job on grass.

I like the light weight and portability of the cordless trimmer. It has plenty of power for tall grass and weeds and trims with ease. I live on a farm and have a large yard and it keeps its charge for a long, long time. It is small and portable, so I can put it in the SUV and take it to town to trim at the cemetery around my husband's grave.

Unfortunately I did not read the reviews before I wasted my money on this item. I bought it on sale otherwise I would be more mad than I am. As per the reviews, the plastic shield that snaps on the back will not stay on. Before I even used it it came off 3 times. Also per previous reviews I had not even used the trimmer for 5 min and the string or trimmer cord is gone. Don't know if I used it up or it just snuck back inside the trimmer. I can't get the head off now to find out. BEWARE PEOPLE, th...

Finally decided to replace my old weed eater. The line feed wasn't working and could not get replacement spools any longer. Guess I made a poor decision. The "new" Toro worked about 10 seconds and the line disappeared. Had difficulty getting the top off the spool. Returned to place of purchase where customer service rendered assistance and replaced spool. As soon as I began using it the line disappeared again and would not refeed. This time I was able to remove the spool and extend the line manu...

Reliable

This beats carrying around gas a powered trimmer, no messing around with gas/oil. Charging usually takes around 6 hours and can get 2 cuttings on a full charge. Just ran out of string last week for the first time (you have to remember our summers are short in SD), rewinding spool with new string was very easy.

This product doesn't work for me!

I cannot get the bump-feed system to release the string. I've had it a year and have only had about an hour's worth of trimming...pulling and tugging at the string. UGH!!!!!

This unit operates very poorly.

In anything but the smallest grass, this unit is unusable. There is a space between the shaft and the spinning line wheel that collects longer grass and immediately knots up. It takes less that 15 seconds of work before the motor bogs down and you have to stop and remove the grass knot. The string guard is also very poorly connected and falls off at the drop of a hat. I would not recommend this unit to anyone.

Like other reviewers, I have had an extremely short battery life. It is barely lasting 5 minutes after being plugged in for days. I have only had this for a year, so I can't believe the battery is bad already. I like the lightweight design, and it cuts pretty well for the first couple of minutes, but I can't get more than about 20 - 30 feet of trimming at a time.

Didn't live up to positive reviews

I bought this trimmer based on positive reviews saying it held a charge for 30-45 minutes. I am lucky if it holds a charge for 10 minutes. In addition, it's power is weak even at the begiinning of use. I'm very disappointed in this product and it's performance.

Very light weight, but doesn't hold charge .

I like how light weight this trimmer is, however, it doesn't hold a charge. It would be great if it came with 2 batteries that you could interchange.

The right size for a female operator.

This model is perfect for my yard which has multiple flowerbeds that need to be edged. Enough power to complete the entire yard. So nice to be free of the extension cord. Only used it three times so I do not know how dependable it is.
