Easy trap - could get you a squirrel!
Would RecommendBought this for trapping rats but ended up almost getting a poor squirrel. Trap is really easy to set and reuse but does a poor job of discriminating between the good/bad rodents.

Best trap we have ever had. Will never buy a traditional spring loaded trap again. Easy to load, easy to dispose of critter, easy to clean.

Would RecommendJust bought one, put some peanut butter in it and set it. Within 10 minutes of the turds coming it got the big rat. This works great! Easy to use just wear some gloves. You can open it without touching the rat.

This trap sure did the job. Followed the store employee suggestions and it worked like a charm. Can't believe how intelligent and elusive this rat was. Totally avoided the trap for several days. Until it got used to seeing it. The same rat pushed away the sticky trap I had purchased. However, this second trap caught an few baby ones. Apparently the rat had a litter.

Would RecommendMuch better than I expected. We've all used the original snap traps and that's what I bought first. After the first couple of catches they get pretty nasty. Not to mention the nervousness you get from setting the trap. So I grabbed a few of these too. The set felt weak. But the bait goes inside a cup. Two rats down! They work just fine and you can dispose of the critters without feeling disgusted. Simple reset and we wait for number 3. Even though they are over twice the price of the old style I...

Would RecommendThe locking mechanism fails quite quickly. I've had 3 fail in the last 3 weeks. No trap has worked more than 6 times before failing. But, they are quite effective for young and medium rats. I hav e had. couple of larger rats trigger the trap to close on their heads (not necks) and were able to wriggle out and be a bit injured... not super pleasant in any respect.
