Ratings & Reviews for Timberline Premium 2 -cu ft All natural Cedar Mulch Blend

Go to mulch

I’ve been using this mulch for years. It smells amazing, it’s not dyed so it looks natural in the landscape and it decomposes slowly due to a mixture of fine and slightly chunky textured pieces.

Looks great in the flower bed

Good stuff

All Around Decent Mulch.

Poor quality, unsafe pieces

Almost every bag had some type of trash or junk: large hunks of painted wood, found a piece w a screw in it- almost like they were wood chipping salvage yard scraps. If you don’t need to worry about any pets or kids messing around in it once its down, it’ll stick around for a while though. I wouldn’t choose for any benefits of Cedar at all if thats what you’re hoping for.

This product was great ----- BUT when I asked for help upon loading unto cart my of 10 bags of mulch in store which were heavy as heck - Employees disappeared I was overwhelmed and just loaded on the cart paid at garden center and finished loading into car in front of outside building and crazy enough i signed up for the Lowes credit card after -unhappy Gregg

Love shopping at Lowes always a good price

Good value

Great color, lasts a long time . Good value.

Good mulch

It is good mulch for the price, but it seems to degrade fast.

Great color and stays put!

I bought this earlier this summer and so far it's worked great - sufficiently heavy to stay put, but not so heavy that it's difficult to spread. Very happy!

Blended well and aromatic!

I picked up 10 bags about two weeks ago. They were clean and the quality was excellent. I often find large pieces in the mulch but these were blended well and went down easily. Mine are mostly for a dog lot for the winter to keep down mud. However, I liked it so much I went back and got 9 more for my shrubs and flowers for fall.

No cedar

We purchase some thinking it would smell like cedar. It was more of dirt than anything else. The color was dark and mulch dirt was dry. We ended up having to rake it all up and putting to our field because there was no cedar scent mulch what's so ever. So maybe our grass in the field may benefit from it not what we needed it for.

Retains ground moisture & no added dyes or colors

Retains ground moisture without added dyes or colors, also helps to naturally repel ants and blends in with nature’s surroundings.

Excellent mulch!

Smells wonderful, color is natural looking! Enriches my soil with many mushrooms growing already which is an excellent sign. Definitely holds in moisture well on my sun scorching hill I have.
