What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this pine bark mulch for its natural appearance, long-lasting durability, and superior weed suppression. Most appreciate the large, chunky nuggets that last significantly longer than shredded alternatives, stay in place even on slopes, and maintain soil moisture without artificial dyes. Reviewers consistently highlight the rustic, decorative look that enhances garden beds and complements acid-loving plants. A small number report inconsistent batches or moldy product, though these are isolated cases. Overall, customers strongly recommend this mulch for its durability and aesthetic appeal.

Very reasonably priced and better than mulch.

Looks good and beneficial, too.
These do a good job of keeping the soil moist. I also like that they seem to make the ferns in the garden look greener in contrast to the red pine nuggets.

Not our problem
Would Not RecommendFollow up to my review. The assistant store manager just told me that the issue with the delivery of mulch was not their problem because it left the store. I asked if he would mind staying on the line while we tried to contact the delivery service, he said he was too busy and next time I should use Lowe’s delivery service instead. Explained it was delivery service.
Worse customer experience ever.
Would Not RecommendI waited all day for my same day delivery which I ordered first thing in the morning. Come 5:00 Lowe’s marked my order as delivered. Now the Lowe’s customer service desk isn’t answering the phone. When I first got through they transferred me to their delivery service. The delivery service phone service is turned off. I’ve now been waiting on hold for 30 minutes for the Lowe’s store manager who apparently nobody can find. The photo is an empty driveway where they supposedly delivered the mulch to...

Light weight to transport !
Would RecommendMulch appears to be natural pine bark in large pieces. I had expected to see small nuggets so it was a surprise to see how large they were. I can see that it has a couple of advantages,as in less floating and slower decay. My preference will be timberline pine bark Mulch.
