New scent awful

Our family is not a fan of the new Spring Meadows scent in tide pods. I started using this scent years ago as it was recommended on Airbnb as the most clean smell for sheets in our Airbnb now it is overpowering and smells like cheap perfume on our clothes. Please consider changing back to the original formula which was so much more clean smelling and unoffensive, especially for those of us who have allergies.

Wish it was for hot or made liquid

I love this scent! I wish it was available in a regular liquid, or for use in warm and hot loads.

My clothes smell like fish

I’ve had to wash my clothes several times with different detergent because I could not get the smell of fish out of them. The smell of fish is so powerful and strong on my clothes when they are all dried. I will be switching my laundry detergent and will not recommend these pods to anyone. Bad move for switching the scent.

I thought new smell was bug spray

I truly thought something was wrong with the laundry and someone spilled bug spray everywhere. New scent is terrible!

Absolutely hate the scent now

I’m confused how changing how the ‘scent blooms’ completely changed the smell of the product. Really upset because I bought this in bulk and have four bags of gross smelling laundry detergent >:( There was nothing wrong with the scent bloom previously, please change it back and make an announcement when you do because I’m never buying more of this ‘upgraded’ product

Fish smell!

I could not figure out why my clean loads of laundry smelled like fish and after switching multiple products like my dryer sheets, I discovered it was the Spring Meadow pods! Even the bag and container smell! It’s awful. We’ve used Tide for years but I’ll be switching brands immediately. This needs to be fixed since it appears I’m not alone.

Bad scent

You need to change the scent back to how it was, or at least make another version of this new scent, but don't call it spring meadow. This new scent does smell awful. I have to use two dryer sheets just so that it won't smell that bad from the new spring meadow scent. I have loved the original spring meadow scent for years, but I'm very disappointed now. I'm sorry to say this but who ever led your research to change the smell, dropped the ball on this one.

I have used these pods for years, and I always made sure to get the Spring Meadow scent because it always smelled great. The new scent that is now marketed as Spring Meadow is simply awful. Formulation change makes the pods smell horrendous

Tide, please go back to the old formula or fix the putrid smell. It definitely isn’t just this scent. I used some other tide pods recently with oxiclean that I didn’t like and was really looking forward to going back to our tried and true spring meadow only to my horror to find the scent has changed and it’s awful!!! Smells like fish

I’ve been using these Spring Meadow Tide pods which I purchase in bulk from a warehouse store for years. This last batch has a horrendous smell like rotting fish. The smell remains in my washer, dryer and on my clothing long after the laundry is done. I’m sorry to say I will be switching to a new brand.

Why in the world would Tide decide to change the scent so drastically is beyond me. Absolutely no one was complaining about the old scent. Horrible.

Can't use Spring Meadow scent anymore

Just like others wrote, I hate the new smell since you changed the formula. It lingers on some fabrics longer, so I had to rewash them with different detergent a couple times to get rid of it. I hope you bring back the old formula then I will be happy to buy it again.

Awful chemical smell

Ihave been using the spring meadow scent for as long as it’s been out I noticed you changed the spring meadow to cold water in the process of doing that the scent is a awful chemically smell that’s hard to get rid of I have ALWAYS used cold water and it cleaned and smelled just fine please bring back the old scent or I’m changing brands . I can’t take this new smell it’s nauseating.

The fall 2023 formulation is disgusting

This used to be my favorite product. Now it smells like solvent and the odor is so strong even after drying. I cannot even use more than one pod because if I do the smell is overwhelming. It does not smell like a spring meadow; it smells like a dry cleaning factory with gasoline on the floor.

New Smell is Awful!

We have used Spring Meadow pods for years and loved the mellow, fresh scent. Just bought some more pods and immediately noticed a different, strong, unpleasant smell to the clothes after they were washed. Not only does this unpleasant odor stick on the clothes, it permeates the house. We can’t stand wearing our clothes now due to the annoying odor. Will be returning the pods to Sam’s and buying a different brand.

Did Spring Meadow scent change?

I buy in bulk. Just bought a new stock and the PODS smell horrible. I had to rewash my clothes three times and still couldn’t lose the smell.

Smells horrible!

I’ve been using TidePods for a couple years. I purchased SpringMeadow and it literally smells like I washed my clothes in Fabuloso floor cleaner! I had multiple coworkers also tell me the scent was so strong and smelled horrible! Please change this formulation, I’ll be taking my purchase back to the store for a refund.

What have you done…

This was my holy grail… FOR YEARS. This smells like vinegar and pickles now. I literally don’t even know what product to use anymore and I refuse to buy another pack of these.
