Normally, when doing laundry, there is a pleasant smell near the laundry room. First time using the power pods, there was a distinct chemical smell. About 30 minutes after folding laundry, my inner arms started breaking out in hives….horrible itching. I thought maybe the cat had gotten into poison ivy and took a shower. Would Not RecommendI hate the smell. I have the washing machine unit in my bedroom and when I used this pod the whole room smelled of tide. It also stays in clothes after wash. I just hate it. I wish I had bought the tide 3 in 1 pods. They don't smell this bad.
