What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this product for effectively repelling mosquitoes and enabling outdoor enjoyment without bites. Most users in high-mosquito regions describe it as a game-changer for patios and gatherings, appreciating its simplicity and lack of mess compared to sprays or candles. Many note it works reliably and requires no odor or constant reapplication. However, some customers report reliability issues including difficulty igniting, units failing after short use, or complete ineffectiveness. Despite these concerns, the vast majority consider it worthwhile for outdoor comfort.

Would RecommendSeems to work good to keep the bugs away. Lighting (activation) it is pretty straightforward. It seems to last a while, and it’s all in closed so you don’t have to worry about safety. Not really sure about the coverage not had it long enough to see about that yet.

Not sure if it works
Would RecommendI can’t tell if it works. We’ve had it out several times and haven’t noticed any mosquitoes, but then again there may not have been any around at that time. Everything worked properly and it’s easy to use.

Like the model
Nice model but unfortunately it does not seem to work 100% over here. There are less mosquitoes but we have it installed 3 feet in front of us and the mosquitoes are still attacking us.

Mosquito repellent
Would RecommendTakes about 15 minutes for thiscto take effect which is okay. The fact that it repels for a 15 ft distance might be true as have not confirmed going that far from thermacell.

Great product!
Would RecommendI bought the Graphite Patio Shield (plus the refill box) for this mosquito season, and it's working great so far. It really keeps those annoying bugs away while sitting outside on my balcony that overlooks Williamson Creek in Austin, Texas. I love that it's DEET-free, so there's no harsh chemical smell. It's simple, it works, and it makes hanging out on the balcony a lot more relaxing. Definitely glad I got it!
