What Customers Are Saying

Customers overwhelmingly praise these self-drilling screws for exceptional performance in wood-to-metal applications, particularly in trailer decks and structural framing. Most highlight their ability to drill cleanly and bite firmly into metal without pre-drilling, holding securely under stress without backing out or breaking. Reviewers consistently note high durability and reliability, with many reporting zero breakage even in heavy-duty use. A small group mentions Phillips head design strips easily and recommend using Torx bits or pre-drilling instead. Despite minor concerns, most customers consider them highly effective and worth purchasing again.

I bought these screws for installing a trailer deck to the c-channel beneath. They did a pretty good job but about 20% of the pack stripped without taking a bite. I was tapping pretty thick steel though without pre drilling so I think they work fine.
