We have an old Mastercool evaporative cooler (ground mount) that turned 18 years old a couple of weeks ago. I have already done some patchwork on the sides of the cooler due to the rust that had developed over the years. Good screws to use to fasten things to metal

These screws are excellent to use to secure things to metal no more than 1/4 inch thick. You want to make sure you have a fast turning drill (1000 rpm's or more). Having a faster turning drill will aid in the amount of time it takes to cut through the metal. The screw will drill and cut the necessary threads in metal to hold an object securely. The hex head on the screw also helps in giving a non-slip way of driving the screw into the metal.
