What Customers Are Saying
The tile spacers are generally effective and easy to use, especially for floor tile installation. Many found them helpful in achieving consistent and even spacing between tiles, and praised their versatility for use in both "X" and straight patterns. However, some noted they were less effective for wall tiles, as they tended to fall out more easily. A few also mentioned they were not well-suited for certain tile shapes, such as octagonal tiles. Additionally, some experienced issues with the spacers breaking or becoming stuck in the mortar. Overall, the spacers work well for most standard floor tile projects, but may require more care when used for wall tiles or non-standard shapes.

Would Not RecommendThese appear easy to use. However at corners and edges they must be cut. Strength is an issue. We discarded all of them and switched to a "U" shaped professional spacer that can be used on edges, corners and seams between tiles. They can interlock with another at junctions of four tiles. The product purchased at Lowes I will not use again.

cumbersome and difficult to use
Would Not RecommendThese gadgets are designed to fit in corners as well as just between pieces of tile, however, figuring out which side to put in causes delays.

Pulled tiles loose
Would Not RecommendWe used these on our kitchen backsplash of glass mosaic 3/4" tiles that made a 12"x12" squares. When we removed them, they pulled the tiles out almost everywhere we used them. It was frustrating to try to get them to space the tiles when in fact they kept the space, but they also made the tiles they were touching bulge out and lose the adhesion they had with the mortar. It was so bad that we have to rework several tiles that were pulled loose by the spacers; some of which we have to redo altoget...

Worst spacers ever
Would Not RecommendI used these on a tile backsplash and they would not stay in the grout lines. Put three in four fall out behind them. They cost me about an extra 3 hours on the job and time is money. Maybe they would be good for a floor but I won't be purchasing more of them.
Much easier than the standard cross shaped type.
Would RecommendI hesitated at first due to the price of these, but recalling the difficulty removing the cross shaped ones last time, I decided to give these a try. I was installing subway tile in a brick pattern this time, and I would have had to cut the others to fit T intersections. These have two sides, one for four way intersections, and one for straight seams. As it turned out, the straight side worked best for my tiles, one on each end and two across the bottom (one against each adjacent tile).Taking th...

Love these spacers
Would RecommendThese tile spacers are way easier to use than the white rubber + design ones. They are sturdy and are two-sided one side is a + the other is a -. The design is longer than the older rubber style which helps with alignment. This is really important when setting tiles with small gaps like 1/16". The larger size also makes them easy to install and more importantly easier to remove.

Just OK
Would Not RecommendSpacers were used for a backsplash installation. I think for floor tiles, they would have worked much better. But for wall tiles, they constantly fell out. Our gap was very small, but the depth that these spacers go into is so short, that they just fell right out. Oh gravity! No matter what tile you use, there's a good size depth... it would be nice if these were a bit longer. Also, I needed some spacers for the bottom where the tiles almost meet the countertop. This isnt the fault of these spac...

Nice spacers
Would RecommendThese worked well for laying 6x24 tile. I prefer these over the other style spacers, and they are reusable if you can keep from getting mortar all over them.

Well this was my first go of this kind of spacer. I actually like them quite a bit. Helped me breeze right through a floor.

Quick and easy to install and remove.
Would RecommendIntricate patterns require precise spacing for a quality end product. Cutting and laying the tile "dry" before adhering them allows more time for accurate and sometimes revised cuts. Easy to use spacers permit dry fitting tile easily no matter how many times the tile is removed from the floor. Good product designed by a tile setter!

Worst tile spacers I ever used
Would Not RecommendI have done dozens of tiling jobs and decided to give this product a try in tiling my shower walls. When I went to remove the spacers the next day most of them broke off in the grout lines. It was a disaster and took me a few hours to get the pieces left behind out with needle nose pliers and a dental pick. Needless to say I won't ever use this product again and would not recommend this product.
These spacers make tile work easy.
Would RecommendI used these spacers to lay tile on a kitchen island that I built for my wife. It was easy to keep straight lines. We used several different styles of tile and it worked well with them all. Defenitely worth the money.
